I still don't get why you use the 1903 over some of the other sniper rifles. You still wreck with it regardless, but surely the SMLE would be a more capable weapon in your hands. Is it for the challenge? Or am I missing something? I miss your BF4 vids where you explained why you use certain weapons
Probably because it has the second fastest muzzle velocity, and the lowest drag coefficient of the rifles - meaning that you barely have to lead your shots. It also has a decent rate of fire. If you can land headshots at close & medium range, and since the rifle is naturally good at longer ranges, it is an effective all-rounder.
There is only VERY mild bullet ballistics involved with the 1903, from what I remember. You can sit at opposite ends of Empire and only need to raise your crosshairs up by about a quarter from the center. It doesn't hit sweet spots from as short a range as the SMLE, but it outdoes it in almost every other aspect, besides medium range, really. The fire rate is enough to reinstitute another shot at a target you didn't kill very easily. All around, the only thing that I could see Ravic defining as a reason to use the SMLE is its ability to one-shot people at 35 meters. And then again, it could just be because it's an American rifle with good looking trim and a nice shot sound, because we all know Ravic likey that.

Do you think side movement is too fast in this game when compared to previous battlefield games. It seems like you can just dodge people and shots really fast in this game. It does make for some fun and interesting firefights though.
Strafe and movement speed in general is faster than any previous Battlefield. Add that to the RNG running animations where the third person models shake and bounce around it encourages hip-fire spraying for most classes because the player model they are trying to shoot as is practically teleporting on their screen and that is normal for this game.
