Very nice work! I've never done anything with a wheel, so that was especially interesting to see. Do you work from design sketches, or do you just know what you're going for and shape it as you go? A request on the camera angle: the side view of your wheel work leaves your right hand hidden, so I couldn't make out all the shaping moves you were doing. Also, what was the coin/stamp you were putting on the bases of the cups? They look great.
@briancurtis6022 hi Brian, thank you for the advice with the camera angle, didn't thought about that 😅🫠. I had some leftover clay and just played around and didn't had any plans for the shape...and the round stamp is my new maker's stamp,I can't wait to glaze again. For right now I'm making a lot of things to fill Eugene for the next bisque firing 🔥 😬
Wow this is so cool 😍😍, thank you for sharing! Do I understand correctly you used 4oz (113gr) clay for the little mugs? I tried to center 100gr… oh boy that’s something needs practice:)))
@gabriellame1815 yes I did, but I have small hands so it was a bit easier for me😅, I would go with 125g next time, to make them just a tiny bit bigger. You can see them finished in my kiln opening video number 6🥰
Really like the delicacy of the tray! Can't wait to see these glazed and fired!
@mssmaris24 thank you 🤗
Super❤ Edel und fein ,so ist es.
@@UteSabetta danke♥️🤗

I just had a request for some. I may try them off the hump. You wedge each 4oz piece of clay?
@@monkshillpottery yes I did, but I have very small hands😅. You could wedge a big ball and then split it in 4 and make 4 small balls out of it🤗
