If anyone is wondering about replacing the screen without replacing the frame, this video is sufficient. He kind of glosses over that part, but it's the same as most other phones. The ribbon cable is under the cover with the 18 screws right next to the headphone jack. Heat the screen with a hair dryer, and work a plastic tool in between the glass and the plastic bezel. Work your way around and remove.
Your videos are always really helpful. I was wondering though once you've gotten to the point where you disconnect the battery is it possible to remove the battery in order to replace it at that point or would I have to continue to take apart the phone to free it?
How do you save internal memory like storge pics if phones is mess up. Phone keeps continueous restart non stop untill phone dies. Than continues after charge and phones turns back on how to fix this and save storage pics n vids? Can i just swap broken phone mothetboard with new one to save storage pics and vids?
Looking at the battery, it's says it's Li-ion polymer, but on the other part of the battery, it says Li-ion, so which one is it and how long can the battery last until replacing it?
Does anyone get a weird multitasking glitch on the n20? (Almost exiting an app a previous app a pears for a split second and then it turns normal.) Anyone? Or maybe something similar while multitasking.

Does ram boost drain your battery on the n20? I tested out for a few days and the battery took a hit I don't know if its only me but if anyone test ram boost on the n20 leave results int comments.
Would you recommend replacing the frame as well if theirs a possibility of water damage and a broken screen
If you can find a screen with frame combo (usually how they are sold), yeah would make the installation much easier as well.

Just enough to gain access to disconnecting the battery cable and prying it off.
Can I ask for some advice? I have a OnePlus Nord N20 5G with 6.43 inch AMOLED screen and would like to replace with OnePlus Nord N200 5G 6.49 inch LCD screen. Screen resolution is the same except dimension is 0.06 different. Will this work? Are there any Chinese brand LCD screen that is reliable? Thanks.
No wont work. The screen cables are completely different and different locations as well. Also any size difference would cause it not to fit the frame etc.

yeah you can use a hair dryer to heat it up, that's what I usually prefer to use. Less risk of damaging anything.
I am leaving this message for anyone here, including the uploader, who may know what's happening:
(1st issue) Sometimes, when I receive a text message, the message appears at the top of all my messages. This forces me to scroll all the way to the top just to read the entire message. Also, it's indicating that it was received in December of 1969.
(2nd issue) In my car, I have the option to set the 4 most important contacts on the main screen and everytime I start my car, the contacts are erased and I end up having to re-store those contacts over and over again. Never had a problem with other phones except this one.

Hmm not sure, you can try backing up your data and doing a factory reset (will erase everything on your phone). This will rule out any software bug or issue.
@@PBKreviews Yes. Unfortunately, I've already done this. But still the same issue. It's weird because I've never in my life have experienced this before.
My wife has the exact same phone and she is also going through the same issue.
Put a warning to not take out the battery bc now it doesnt turn on

You are probably out of luck. The storage is soldered to the main board, so replacing it wont help. You would probably have to find a place which does soldering that can swap the processor and the storage ROM to a different working board which would probably be expensive if even possible.
