Definitely tough, but thanks for sharing! I think I’m gonna go for singles on Ebay for this because it seems like chromes and autos will be tough, a la Allen and Ginter… The Detmers is a nice card, kids gonna be a stud
Funny you mention A&G, that’s another set I love to pick up but have had much better luck on with the rips. Autos were tough pulls in 2021 too, I’ve heard good things about Detmers too, we’ll see soon!

Hey man I definitely think you summed it up perfectly.. oh heritage!! haha all it takes is that one big card to make it worth the price of admission but it just didn't happen we didn't see any wanders in the relic you hit was definitely a great player but this product tends to be difficult to hit anything big out of it without opening case's of it. Pretty typical Heritage box. Nice break man, Heritage is always tough to score awesome hits. I'm pretty much passing on hobby boxes except jumbo hobby this year (MIGHT get some hobby packs of chrome as the year goes on). As a collector I figure it's more efficient (and cheaper!) to just go with mostly retail. $100 for 24 9-card packs versus eight 9-card packs (1 blaster) for 20ish bucks. 216 cards vs 72...3 blasters ($60) for 216 cards. Lose out on the topper and guaranteed hit, but oh well, I have yet to get any epic pulls! with heritage in all the years I've been getting it. :-)
Of course, then imma go hog-wild when 'black friday' sales come around like I did this past year. Purchased a treasure trove of many hobby boxes for really cheap! just had to wait until November to get them. 🤣
I went that route with a few products last year like Prizm Baseball, grabbed a few megas vs the severely overpriced hobby at the time haha. I was tempted with a few holiday deals last year but didn’t grab much like I did in 2019. Take care Chris!

Well I needed to slow way down anyhow and focus on singles so I think I'll just hold off for a Mega box. Bummer on your luck but great video as always!

Tough luck Hoss! My favorite card was the Detmers chrome refractor. It'll be tough to pull any big hits especially this year with how much I'm sure they printed, but I appreciate that Topps at least wasn't lazy enough to use 90% spring training photo day pictures for the base cards. I like the base cards with up close and action shots from the regular season. I'll probably buy one hobby box and one blaster box and/or monster box of Heritage.

Even with Wander, I’m not sure some of these Heritage boxes I’ve seen can be saved for the current prices, so so much base, increasing print runs and not including any more parallels has made Heritage super tough even compared to how bad the last two years seemed to me. Ever since they started the super short print nonsense in Heritage it became crap. In 07 I ended up buying 14 boxes and still needing 7 on ebay to complete it. Now its impossible to complete

The design is definitely sweet, the backs are gonna be brutal for grading, PSA 10s are gonna be tough finds out of 2022 Heritage. PC for the W for sure, take care Plakata familia!
