Uhm.. folks... I think you completely missed the whole point of the original context. It was already exactly that... come on in, the water's fine. Drown with me. He was talking about, among other things, global warming, rising oceans, etc. I mean, it even mentions it in this song directly, and is echoed in That Funny Feeling.
