Yeah, no kidding! I was TERRIFIED I was gonna break this Furby, a lot of things were riding on the procedure. Unless you're confident in your motor skills, it's best to leave your Furbys eyes be. The plastic is just too fiddly!
I have a broken furby that i dont think will be repairable so i want to fully custom him, given that situation could the eye chips come out separately?
Could the eyechips of a 2005 Furby come out separately like a 1998 Furby? Sadly, that's not possible, so disassembly is the only way to swap eyechips. but thank you for asking before attempting, you could've done some really damage!
You sure can! I had a scrapped 2005 Charcoal Furby with a horribly corroded and sadly beyond repair battery pack, but his original beak was in near perfect condition. I didn't want his old beak to go to waste, so you can see me in this video using it as a replacement for the orangey perforated beak of a 2005 Marshmallow Furby. Though I am currently working on actually creating new beak replacements from scratch, so if you'd like it I'll keep you updated!
@@nataliescaggs8512 Heya, Furby Fanatic here! I'd like to say that I recently found someone who sells replacement 2005 Furby beaks, but I think they're based in Japan, and plus shipping cost it''s around $50 for 1-2 beaks? But the quality of their beaks seem to be great, so here's a few links in case you're interested : yuyu-beakshop-global.stores.jp/items/62433c336dc67b2398c33cfb instagram.com/furby.hana/ twitter.com/yuyuyuyuyu0505
Here's a nifty playlist with the other episodes of this series! : ruclips.net/video/7Ld6bCmhhHs/видео.html
I wish I could change the eyes on my 2005 furb but I’m too scared to!
