- Hello and welcome Duelists! I hope you enjoy this awesome Time Thief deck video where I show you the new powerful Time Thief deck that I played in the current KC cup to reach DLV MAX. This Time Thief deck made it incredibly easy to reach DLV MAX. I found that this Time Thief deck can defeat every deck it faced such as Lyrilusc, Unchained, Windwitch, Borreload, Shiranui and many more!
This Time Thief deck can win going first and going second and it is incredibly consistent. Every duel that I played, I was easily able to play my combo. So for going first, play Time Thief Regulator Don't worry if it isn't in your hand, use the skill "Time Thief Cross-Beat" to add it in your hand. Activate Regulator's effect to special summon two Time Thief monsters from the deck. For this, summon Time Thief Winder and Time Thief Chronocorder. Activate Winder"s effect to add a Time Thief card to your hand from your deck. Choose any card that suits your situation. If you need a monster add Adjuster (if you haven't got it in your hand) or Bezel Ship. If you have those monsters and the spell Start Up, add the counter trap Retrograde to your hand. Xyz summon Perpetua.
Play Start Up to special summon Bezel Ship or any other Time Thief monster (as long as you still have an Adjuster in your hand after). Then activate Adjuster's effect to special summon itself. After that, Xyz summon. Evilswarm Knightmare. Activate Perpetua's effect (can be activated during either turn) to attach a card from your deck to Knightmare. Choose the trap Flyback. Set your disruption card(s) and that should be that. Your opponent's special summons will be disrupted via Knightmare and if Flyback is in the GY, you can steal an opponent's monster in their GY and attach it to Perpetua. Also during the standby phase, you can special summon a Time Thief monster by detaching a material. Detach Winder to special summon it and you can add a Time Thief card of your choice.
When it's your second turn, your opponent will have many face-down monsters and nothing too scary to face. Special summon more Time Thief monsters and Xyz summon powerful monsters depending on your opponent's field. If they have a face-up monster in attack position, play Time Thief Hack which protects your Xyz monsters. Then Xyz summon Raider's Knight to Xyz summon Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon to finish off your opponent. If your opponent has no attack position monsters, summon Castel, Malevolent Sin and Drill Driver Vespenato to remove your opponent's cards off the field and attack with all the monsters you have to finish your opponent off.
With these combos, your opponent will find it extremely difficult to win as shown in the video. You also have Redoer which is an excellent control card that can disrupt your opponent's moves too. Use this card against your opponent for grind duels.
This is perhaps the best Time Thief deck currently in Duel Links in my opinion as it was so easy to reach the KC cup DLV MAX with this deck. It is so consistent and feels like a tool box deck. The main deck isn't that expensive and very cheap but the extra deck is where you will need some gems to get the cards.

I have also been using Time Thief in the KC Cup and have been doing rather well. I do sometimes get unlucky and go second against a nigh unbreakable board, but I have more wins than losses.
Personally, I think the worst deck to go against is Sky Striker. They have so many spells, searches, and recycling that a single negate doesn't do a lot to hinder them. And removing Raye from the graveyard only impedes them, as they tend to have at least one more copy.
Hey Tall Person! 👋 Thanks for the comment. Awesome! I'm glad you are doing well in this KC cup. Haha it can happen to anyone. I have had my fair share of bad luck. 😂 This is why I try and build the most consistent decks to increase my chances of not being unlucky. 😆 For me, I tend to win more when going second and when I go first with most decks, my opponent has a board wiping OTK deck which ultimately puts me in a bad situation but with this deck, it nullifies them except for Sacred Beasts, that was one of the few loses that I had and I went first. They played around Evilswarm Nightmare and OTKed me with the Pentestag, Raviel and Shimmering Scrapper combo. 😅
Yeah I believe Sky Striker could be tricky to play against. I'm not sure if I faced a Sky Striker deck in my climb. 🤔 Haha I agree. You would have to pray that you have a Forbidden Lance ready. Also Time Thief Hack is great as that card prevents your opponent from targeting and destroying your Xyz monsters with card effects the turn they are summoned. Then finish them off with Arc Rebellion. But I would be interested in facing Sky Striker with this deck. What Time Thief deck build do you have? What cards are different to the ones I am using? 😊
@@duellinksjakku5481 Time Thief Hack has saved me and won me quite a few games, so you don't need to sell how good it is to me. 😀 My deck is mostly the same. I run a second copy of Retrograde just so I have another trap to attach to ReDoer or a second backrow negate. I also use Number 69: Heraldry Crest. It hasn't come up yet, but the ability to permanently negate Xyz monsters in a meta that has Star Seraph and Lyrilusc as popular decks make want to have an out.
Haha awesome! It is such an underrated card! Same with me too. 😁 Wow cool! Nice. ReDoer for me didn't see much play as I didn't need to summon it as many games were won in many situations in which I just needed to finish off my opponent but I know it's potential which can be crazy. Oh yeah that's an amazing card for the current meta! Can't believe I missed it haha. 😅 Looks like I will be slipping that card in my extra deck. 😁 Keep up the awesome dueling Tall Person. It is probably the easiest climb to DLv.Max that I have done despite the current meta. I would definitely recommend this fun deck to play if anyone is struggling in this KC cup. 😁

Ive tried this deck, But the combo I made was solid and great. But my level in the Kc is not maxed still 14 with a lost of 9 lost and 2 wins right now due to how many P2W nowadays since im only F2p with no money expenses
Hey Alpha Bull! 👋 Thanks for the comment. That's cool. Glad the combo works well for you. Oh that's ashame. I'm surprised that the deck lost 9 times and won twice. What decks have you been facing? That's great. I'm a F2P player myself. You can definitely reach DLv.MAX. Sometimes you can face many tough decks and lose a few duels in a row and then suddenly you can go on a crazy win streak. It has happened to me a few times in the past. Just keep cool, patient and mastering the deck and you should be good.

Hey Alla! 👋 Thanks for the comment. Haha. I chose to play as Z-One as I felt he was the most fitting character to play Time Thief as he has the technology to travel through time and change the past, similar to Time Thief. I don't believe there are many other characters that are time travellers in the game. I don't recall Z-One playing Synchros and I believe he is not too fond of Synchros considering what they were responsible for in his world but there is a Timelord Synchro surprisingly. Anyway, he gets some screen time and was suggested by the game via the new loaner deck duel challenge at the Duel Trials (near the gate). Hope this brings more clarity as to why I chose Z-One for Time-Thief. 😁
