@@DowntimeMedia Its the traction control system light, I've had mine flag yellow from low brake fluid and red when a brake pipe burst. It stays on when you disable TCS/DSC but also flags when you have codes relating to brake errors in that department If that light stays on it means you're getting no input from the traction control, not other way round. It flashes on/off when tcs is actively kicking in. So it's either disabled for the launch on video or he's got an error code relating to TCS/DSC Flashing Yellow means it's kicking in Solid Yellow means it not active/needs checking (manually disabled or error code) Solid Red means there's a definitive issue in the system (error code plus car shuts off tcs/dsc)
It's not launch control, he just popped it in neutral, built up the revs then slung it into Drive. You can clearly see before he revved it up, he shifts into neutral and you can hear him throw it back into drive.
Ruby Malia It does not have a D on the gear selector. It does not have a torque converter. The transmission is identical to the manual E46 M3. The only thing different, is what is attached to the transmission.
@@nate7906 do you shift gears with the stick in the center console? Does it have a clutch pedal? If yes to both, it's a manual. Otherwise, it's an auto
250k an bmw is still running like a literal DEMON. Bmw brand is made for stuff like this no matter the mileage. Regular maintenance an your bmw will run
