My two shepherds love to come up with new and exotic ways to wake me up. From the icy cold wet noses on the ribs, to laying on my face so I can`t breath, to teaming up on one side and rolling me out of bed. For the record, I`m fairly easy to wake up, they just like to make a game of it...

A friend of ours had a German Shepherd. His name was Kato. He looked very intimidating but he was the biggest goofball, Comedy legend and just endearingly sweet. We all loved Kato

All my friends were scarred about my shepherd, cause she was barking very aggressiv if you was outside of the garden. But she was only gripe that you dont come in and play with her.
If you open the door she was so happy to meet new friends. After 20 years i smile about that.

If you have never had the pleasure of being a family member of a hound dog you have not idea what funny is. My first dog was a mixed German Shepherd as a young boy. I loved - "Pouchee" as he was named, but my hound dogs have been a great laugh/enjoyment in my life. Shalom
Just lost my GSDs not long ago. Miss them sooo much!
When I lost my Male GSD (cancer) I was shattered. Depressed and cried every day for 18 months. Then Luna, a 10 month female rescue was essentially thrown on my lap. I couldn't let her go back to a kennel or worse. I love her as much as i Loved Lex. We play ball, I tease her and she teases right back. She's a happy, healthy spoiled stubborn dog. Nothing in this world matters to me except taking care of her.

Our family had a miniature schnauzer that would perch himself like a parrot, on the back rest of my mother's car(bench seats), when we went for a drive, so he could see, and bark at everything that moved. We didn't teach him to do that, he did that all by himself.

Owned Shepards. But when I got PUG, the world changed. No food was safe, and broke into neighbor's home, and ate their pet food, any food he could get.
A true felon. Said no to being able to sit on my lap or sleeping. My wife love's it.

Actually I have two female GSD. My loyal and beloved puppies.
I have a wee Maltese called Tintin and my ex neighbours German shepherd called Misty absolutely adored Tintin, she would lie down when they met a give him kisses. I moved away but i still see them from time to time and Misty still loves him 😊

The biggest clowns are still the Dutch Shepherds.
These dogs have nothing on English bull terriers when it comes to comedy
If not for a guard dog then I'd say they're not worth the hassle. Lots of work either way and like all dogs, most be trained right or will be a nightmare.
