There's low chance to get lengendsries and I'm not going to spend almost half a hour to get shit loot. The devs took away voice chat so we cant really help the noobs anymore because I'm not gonna waste more time typing. When I was new to it after the first couple times I immediately googled a guide for it and been good ever since. Also the players who bring a freaking shotgun to a dungeon is just as bad. This game had became dead ever since voice chat had been taken out.
How to evaluate your team mates on HM: 1. Do they unlock a lock to open the door? 2. Do they shoot at enemies on the first level? 3. Did they let you get in position to get the clusters? 4. Are they low level?

Damn it, it was painful to watch and to relive my experiences. Btw I would say it was average, the time. My fastest one carrying random noobs was around 30 minutes too. Wish the game gave written infos in the wargames menu for Hive Mind especially. You're reactions were justified, lol.
This is actually not the worst you can meet there. One day, I and randoms played and they were shooting the trash and not clusters. Fight with boss? Again, only one who gave boss damage was I. We finally did it after an HOUR. Never gonna play with randoms again.
This reminds me of when I had to fight the Voltaic Fist with noobs. They kept attacking him from the front and not from the back. Also they didn't seem to take cover when he went reactor mode. I kept reviving them and had to instruct them. Finally we was able to beat the boss. It was stressful. Fortunately, I was later rewarded for my perseverance with my first legendary weapon.

As long as they don't kill the void caller they should be good. Kill the blinkers from a far. Also, this is why we need native voice chat, communication is key in EVERY dungeon.

The thing is Johnie, MFG encourage players to use the Team Chat in their update video You didn't really tell them not to shoot the legs or that they're doing it wrong Although I cannot blame you. It's very though to type while being in all that mess. I'd rather just keep going and finish it as well like you did MFG really need to do something like Lock Hive Mind at Lvl 27 That would motivate players to keep grinding till Lvl 27 It would improve the number of players that actually reach Lvl 27 And it would lower the number of noobs
One day I spent the whole night starting games with noobs ( hive and arena) then leave, eventually I didnt play a single game, then I got bored I went to sleep. The problem of the noob is that they dont know what to do and they dont listen when you instruct them.
When I do Hive I always can tell if it will be worth it at the very start to see if they even at least know what to do to get the very first door open, or the first hive battle, if I have to destroy all 3 clusters I'll immediately leave. Not worth doing the extra work on extra time if you end up getting crap loot at the end.

Your a braver man than me I did a gold run with randoms and I almost threw my phone out the window by the time I finished baby sitting the noobs I was running with took me over an hour a whole hour doing one run. Now when I run I msg them b4 game starts and let them know if they die they stay dead till the arena is clear but most of the time they leave but as I said I'm no medic and definitely no baby sitter. ✌
I was so looking forward to this video when I saw the title! I hadn't played hive in a while until this week. Started farming it again and got used to it real quick with new skill tree. Great runs with a team, but I also decided to throw caution to the wind and run a number of them with randoms. Even now that we are able to type in the chat and tell randoms what to do, it is so ridiculous. Yes, this dungeon and gold arena should be for maxed players only. There is little to no room for error--not just in figuring out how to do each part of the dungeon, but the difficulty of the blinkers plus the limited time the hive cubes and boss shield gives you. In one run we did all four rooms in about 12 minutes with randoms, but then we spent 38 minutes on the boss. I was really nice and trying to represent JHC and typed out the instructions about 6-7 different times. They finally got it. I recommended nicely they come to find your channel. They were thankful, but the whole ordeal took 50 minutes. That's a lot to ask for veteran players to be so gracious every time we do a random run. This is why I am switched to singh shotgun for hive. It is so all purpose in hive for just about everything, and it helps the randoms to have a better chance. And while am bomb is amazing, the cool down is just too long with randoms. Stunner can do much of the same work, but be ready every single room. It can even be ready real quick if you have to repeat a room several times with randoms. And I do use pistols most of the time for the end boss hive spheres, just to save primary ammo (unless I had medkit of course). Save my primary ammo for blinkers and secondary for boss. Thanks for the video. It was great. We feel your pain!
JHC Gaming wow, I forgot momentarily you are playing on the shield, so you would hardly ever have time to type any instructions. It’s hard enough already on a tablet or phone. That’s even worse for you! And you all still did better there than some of the randoms I’ve run with AND given instructions!

Unfortunately lvls dont matter from what I've experienced, seen lots of lvl 27s not know a damn thing in hive or in voltic fist. I wish the dungeons were mandatory to move on and level up more.

Fishbobber here. Bro this is why I disconnect. I literally had a noob tell he was going to play it his way after we died in this room 6 straight times. Then he kept running through the door in the room before the time machine and trying to fight with the blinkers. Then we get to the boss and both of them refused to destroy the data hives and instead kept shooting the legs. I was done after 52 minutes and just disconnected
This is hilarious and very aggravating at same time ! IMO i believe their should be some sort of tutorial so that new players know what to do. Its not their fault they dont know what to do . NOW myslef i do research before i get into something but not everyone does that. So this video MFG should see and really think of a way to let players know what to do even if it says in the text in story the text usually goes to quick and most people dont read it . Hive mind with randoms in a nutshell You die at the beginning. They rage quit You die in the second hive room. They call you a noob and ragequit. You are almost done with the dungeon. They leave to troll. These guys have no care for your time and emotions. Sometimes they sit there and do nothing. Sometimes they ragequit. *never do hive mind with randoms. Its for your own safety*
Well, at least you've already completed your tour with randoms. From dailies, to BOF, VF, BD, Silver, Gold, and now Hive. Nobody will ever say " Oh, Johnie only runs with OP players and never with randoms".
I try explain steep by steep all mechanic of each hive, sometimes say to back in hub to squad up, sugest gear, buffs, positions etc. Great part choose shot randomic without destroy shield pods, die 1kk times for blinkers and ALWAYS kill the sniper and spawn the sword guy... Skill like turret and try tank Hive laser beam with reflector skin is routine. 10% wanna learn, 40% learn on pain, 50% is body on floor. And now with equip bug become worst, cuz now they are bad suit up too!
MFG needs to make all the Dungeons and Arenas progressive. You have to do x amount, say 50 BoF/Bronze before you can move to the next level and so on. Level and fame are no indication of ability. I was over 6 million fame before I did my first Hive. The only reason I wasn't a mess is because of my squad, JHC stream/videos and past experience.
@@JHCGaming You'll always have it ready for every room and shooting the boss down with supercharge becomes easier since 3 seconds with a machine gun is a good amount of time when you get immunity from all the blinkers swarming and hitting you.

Lol same happens to me A random player joins us with me and my friend(he was the only one online) He doesnt shoot. He always kills the voidcaller at the boss fight. He dont revive. And main thing, He is playing with plasma blaster smg. Time:- 0.00(we left the match) Health tip- Never play with randoms.
What's weird is some randoms actually make you believe they know what they are doing during the cluster fights and then when the boss comes, they stay in the back and when you ask why are they hiding there. They say its safer.... lol but they keep dying

hey big boy, i have never completed hive mind, i have had this game on my phone since it was still in beta, when i get paired up with randoms, they do not know what to do, and i dislike it when they give up so easily , and leave me in the hive, all on my own , they give up so easily. yes it pisses me off, also i avoid capture the flag, and i will not pick up a green hologram any more or any thing green, if i do accidently, i will drop it and avoid it. gold arena just keeps giving me the same armour and weapons as well, and the worse thing of all i have three or four of the same type of weapons and armour in my inventory, and cant seem to find anything better or new. we have all in game currency but there is nothing to buy with it except waste it on the friut machines do you feel where i am coming from bro. you are the man of shadow gun and yes there are a,lot of clowns who will let you down Oo_rahh

My teammates decided in the first hive cluster to SHOOT THAT 1 RED BLINKER WITH A PISTOL instead of SHOOTING THE SHIELD CLUSTERS AND THE EXPOSED HIVE

The voice chat works until another player disconnects that front their end. So I'm pretty sure they did hear it. Voice is faster than typing.

You can normally tell what kind of run it will be if they both run in to the first corridor that has the lock A and laser switches.

Well, at least you've already completed your tour with randoms. From dailies, to BOF, VF, BD, Silver, Gold, and now Hive. Nobody will ever say " Oh, Johnie only runs with OP players and never with randoms".

I try explain steep by steep all mechanic of each hive, sometimes say to back in hub to squad up, sugest gear, buffs, positions etc. Great part choose shot randomic without destroy shield pods, die 1kk times for blinkers and ALWAYS kill the sniper and spawn the sword guy... Skill like turret and try tank Hive laser beam with reflector skin is routine. 10% wanna learn, 40% learn on pain, 50% is body on floor. And now with equip bug become worst, cuz now they are bad suit up too!

MFG needs to make all the Dungeons and Arenas progressive.
You have to do x amount, say 50 BoF/Bronze before you can move to the next level and so on.
Level and fame are no indication of ability.
I was over 6 million fame before I did my first Hive.
The only reason I wasn't a mess is because of my squad, JHC stream/videos and past experience.
Maybe instead of an AM bomb, if you spec into survival you can use supercharger and steel skin to tank the blink hits to destroy those clusters

@@JHCGaming You'll always have it ready for every room and shooting the boss down with supercharge becomes easier since 3 seconds with a machine gun is a good amount of time when you get immunity from all the blinkers swarming and hitting you.

What's weird is some randoms actually make you believe they know what they are doing during the cluster fights and then when the boss comes, they stay in the back and when you ask why are they hiding there. They say its safer.... lol but they keep dying

Yes even in voice chat I tell team we each target 1 cluster and all open fire together but they want to fight with the spawns instead

hey big boy, i have never completed hive mind, i have had this game on my phone since it was still in beta, when i get paired up with randoms, they do not know what to do, and i dislike it when they give up so easily , and leave me in the hive, all on my own , they give up so easily. yes it pisses me off, also i avoid capture the flag, and i will not pick up a green hologram any more or any thing green, if i do accidently, i will drop it and avoid it. gold arena just keeps giving me the same armour and weapons as well, and the worse thing of all i have three or four of the same type of weapons and armour in my inventory, and cant seem to find anything better or new. we have all in game currency but there is nothing to buy with it except waste it on the friut machines do you feel where i am coming from bro. you are the man of shadow gun and yes there are a,lot of clowns who will let you down Oo_rahh
