One good Sony amp. Build quality is way better than de TA F630ESD and the sound is way better and higher demping factor -> 100. The TA-630ESD sounds a bit off. No plastic buttons on the TA F650ESD. Also the DAC is beter en very reliable. TA-F650ESD is using a Sony Puls DAC. The Sony TA-F630ESD is using strange enough a Philips DAC. I have both DAC’s (it’s easy to interchange the DAC’s, same board) sound is very different between the Philips and Sony DAC’s the Philips DAC sounds more “old school” and less stable. Most of the time after 30 years both DAC’s are not working, bad soldering connection, but easy fix!
