    I find it very funny how Bill Simmons just made a joke about how the only people who benefited from the Hurley stuff was podcast hosts because it gave them something to talk about 😂 then he said “except the ringer, I guess we should have someone reach out” and sure enough here we are 😂😂😂

    Imo lakers going after Hurley was a ploy to make the inevitable JJ Reddick hire look less bad

      yea im sure nba teams that cant hide their owners getting rub and tugs can execute a government level conspiracy over a head coach hire

      @jackiemoon5906 8 дней назад +3

      Wow you guys are really taking this the wrong way. I merely suggested they probably knew Hurley wasn’t coming and saw the backlash Reddick was getting.

      Did it make them look less bad tho? Some were already speculating this was the case when the Hurley news dropped. But when their offer came out, most people thought it wasn’t enough and it made the Lakers front office look even more stupid. They were going to look bad whatever way they tried to cover it up.
      The crazy thing about all of this is that so much people are expecting him to fail. But what if he doesn’t? Does that make them geniuses? Or do people change the narrative in the future saying, “that was the obvious choice. He was Bron’s guy, former player, high IQ, etc.”? No one can definitively say it’s a bad hire until we see how the team actually looks like 30+ or so games into the season.

    Sarr is wiseman to me. I keep scouting him along with others and I see Wiseman or Gafford. Risacher x Jalen Johnson is special. They could be Tatum and Brown. Hawks need to be smart

    • @razkable
      @razkable 8 дней назад +1

      I don't see how zach becomes tatum....he can become a 20 ppg guy one day maybe but the rest of his game seems limited....also sarr has more to his game than he showed and his body will develop and he has good versatile defensive potential if nothing else which may be enough from this draft...he could be the modern day shawn marion

      Yes, I heard they would be willing to trade up for Carter and the Spurs have 2 picks in the top 10. Keep in mind that His Dad still works for the Heat, and He's the main guy in charge of player development.

    clingan upside is a less spacing version zubac on offense and a mix of kessler and claxton on defense as of right now..picking him first seems insane even if it is for fit...any contending team that needs a true big could pick him top 9 but he isn't a better prospect than sarr or zach and he isn't a top 7 passer shooter scorer in this draft...which is vital to winning games if your team has little talent like the wizards and pistons....he may be the best rebounder of the draft and a very good center prospect defensive wise but he isn't as mobile as a sarr or as versatile as a castle so he isn't the best pro defender in the draft....I just don't see how he goes top 6
