Looking at your little black tree, a thought popped into my head. Why couldn't anyone take an old green tree that's ready for the Goodwill bin and paint it black. You can get the orange lights everywhere in the fall. Nothing to lose! Love all the Shiny Brites. Finding the garland to blend with the ornaments was a score!
I have a little tree that I still decorate every year that was originally a green Christmas tree that I spray painted years ago :)

I love the quirky cake stand. Use it with strong Velcro fastener to hold it steady and put a fabulous spooky cake on it. It’s absolutely unique. 😊 Or use your stacking pumpkins to hold it up. 😜Great haul.

Hey Christopher! I wouldn’t discard the pumpkin cake stand just yet. I believe you can put it in the oven (probably wouldn’t do it at a super high temp) to heat up the glue that is attaching the plate and stand together. In theory it should melt the glue and you can detach both pieces and re-glue with a strong adhesive. I’m in groups where people have detached a Johanna parker Christmas cake stand that way. Would hurt to give it a try :)

The tree that you have is made like the Old trees when they first started making order facial Christmas treats. I think they're beautiful. You're lucky to find one of them even though it is new, it's still like the old ones.

Perhaps you could rig a painted thin wooden dowel behind the vine of the cake stand to balance it more. Add some wire curly "vines" to blend it in more. If you place cake stand in a corner, the dowel would likely be hidden. Great video Christopher! Spooktacular finds!!! 🎃 🇨🇦

After watching this video, I went directly to our HomeGoods and found a single package of the small Halloween ornaments and a single box of the garland. The garland is a bit different than yours, shiney bright but orange, gold and silver. No matter. I love them!

I would bury the bottom of the wonky stand in a shallow black plant pot and use the dirt to make a graveyard - like a Halloween fairy garden cemetery underneath. Maybe anchor with wire? Love your content! Thanks so much! 👻☠️👻

I'm so happy you like the books! One of my viewers offered a fun suggestion to me which was to have "author bookplates" made as a way of allowing those who were unable to purchase signed copies on my website to still get my signature in their books. So, using a combination of vintage imagery, I designed some of these author label stickers to sign, and am hoping to have them available on my website as soon as I receive (& sign) them :)

If you fill the bottom of the cakestand with sand and then epoxy the opening shut, you will add weight the bottom of it enough to change the center of gravity so it should be usable to hold some decorations. I'd recommend testing before putting any foods on it where people might knock it when grabbing things. While I haven't had that specific thing happen to me, I've gotten excited about a purchase only to receive it as damaged or less than how it was described. That's always a bit of a bummer. I love your hauls. I also love all your Johanna Parker, I have never been able to find any local. After watching your video this morning, I went on my usual Wednesday shopping trip. I always stop at HomeGoods (they got a truck yesterday with 2000 cartons) to check out their latest Halloween items. I ran some other errands and started on my way home. I decided to stop at the local antique store. There is a little gift type shop in there. I don't visit that antique store often and I never go into that gift shop. Today I did and low and behold, they had some Johanna Parker fall and Halloween items. I picked up a few Halloween pieces and will go back tomorrow and get more. I always seem to manifest the things that I am looking for.

For the JP cake stand, use a heat gun to loosen the glue. Then use E6000 to reattach!
Great video as always🧡🖤🧡. Just an idea, maybe detach the base from the cake plate and display the face so it can be shown off too 🎃
I wonder if you could take the stand off with a carbide rod saw. Then glue it back on in the spot it was suppose to be glued to in the first place.
Or, you could add another spooky character under the stand that helps hold up the top.

I'm not defending the manufacturer of the cake stand, but I used to paint ceramics and a piece like that may have been painted individually as two pieces and then fired together in the kiln to have them attach to each other. I used to do it all the time with large ceramic Christmas trees and I was very careful to align my branches so the three pieces I was attaching looked cohesive. But that said, Quality Control should never have let it go out the door like that.
