Epiphany!! I have been searching for a container for my sponge -- your little bead storage boxes are perfect. LOL I am also coming back to X-stitch after 20 years. At that time, the stores had sponges in little acrylic boxes. You moisten the thread right before you stitch -- it is like ironing your thread. It lays better and no knots! But I had long since lost the top of my last little box. Now I know where to go to construct my own as I have not found them anywhere. Love your videos. I want to have project bags, charms, etc but cannot afford to buy the number I want. Thanks to you - I now know how to make all the items that I want for myself (even if only a little at a time). Thank you for giving me JOY!
Since you don't do "tutorials" would you please "show" us how you make your project bags? Especially the ones where the vinyl is framed with strips of fabric. Not just the binding. Love your videos. Make them as long as you want. When I see how long they are I get very happy knowing I will be occupied for the length of your video while I stitch. Thanks for sharing your crafting knowledge with us.
I love your charms. The coral, bright, lantern and opal charms are beautuful. I purchased your "prefect stitching setup" and it also my prefect stitching set up. Thank you for your inspiring videos, I always stay to the end. 😊
Hi Bonnie! Thank you for sharing your sewing room with us and demonstrating how you make your charms/cabochons/thread drops. I definitely can see your beading background coming into play with this. Check that scrapbooking paper that has adhesive printed on it to see if the back of each piece of paper has a pull off sheet (usually white) and the adhesive is on the back of the paper. I have printed my own designs at home on cardstock but encountered the ripping problem so I applied the puzzle saver sheets to the back of the cardstock which helped tremendously. I have also made thread drops out of greeting cards because they are of high quality materials usually. I use the 1/4 inch and then the 3/4 inch punches for my holes so there is no drag on the binder ring. So far I have only used these for the overdyed flosses and silk flosses, and am not sure if I will convert my DMC collection in the future or not as I already have them all bobbinated and take care of the kinks by running the thread over a dampened sponge which I keep in a container. Do you think it would work to just set a heavy book on top of the cabochon instead of having to press for so long as my fingers probably could not handle it? I would absolutely love either the opal, coral, or lantern cabochon. Thank you so much for your demonstration! I hope you got caught up on your sleep. I am so happy that the inauguration did not end up in more violence than it did and I sincerely hope that we as a nation can start the healing process. Take care dear sister in Christ.
That's a good idea to try the book instead of pressing if your fingers hurt. The main thing is the pressure so the air bubbles come out and the glue spreads so it adheres well. Another option is having someone who can hold it for you after you put it together.
I love all your tutorials that are not tutorial - lol - you did a great job and I learned alot of tips ! Thanks ! I love all things opal, coral, bright and lantern ! Keep up the great videos .
Oh honey! Another great flosstube! Your demos were fantastic. You did a really great job! I love the lantern ring. It’s so symbolic for me! You- you’re sharing your “light” with the world! Me- the leaf is a charm I used on everything I made when I made custom bags and purses and I told everyone it represented new life through Christ! Congratulations on 4000! I love you dearly. 💗

I have learned so much from you. I organized all my DMC and COSMO floss in the bags on the binder rings. When I have it out my hubby is dumbfounded that I have that much floss. And he only sees one. If he only knew that I have 6 full sets of them. Ya know you really never know if this crazy world they might stop producing floss. Yikes!!! But I’m prepared! Bonnie, what a huge blessing you are! I too have peace and hope and rest in knowing Jesus is my savior, He did all the work.Your 'tutorial' was awesome, I thought I wasn't going to go the floss 'jewelry' route; now I am considering it. You are the bright in many of our stitching journeys. Thank you so much.

You are so talented. Is there anything you can't make? Now I want to make jewelry. I ordered 3 quilt patterns and am going to try to hand quilt like you do. Could you show more of your hand quilts. Also could you show your cross stitching. How many hours a day do you spend on your projects?
Beautiful demo. I have just recently started cross stitching after years of sitting it aside. I would love to win. They are all beautiful but here are my selections. Opal, coral, lantern and bright. Thank you.
Just found your channel! I first watched episode 11 and what a surprise when you said your local cross stitch store was Needles and Niceties in Upland! I live in Corona and they are my closest store too. Congratulations on hitting 4000. Coral, bright or lantern. Thanks for teaching how to make these cross stitch bling
Congrats on 4000...Just found your channel...Love the way you explain everything and don 't let us wondering how she did that...You also hooked me of your love for our Lord...I love him too...In the Giveaway...Coral or Bright Christmas would be wonderful...Thank you with Peace and Love...
I was taught to make cabochons by placing a drop of the diamond glaze to the top of the picture then moving the glass part around on that to get the bubbles out. Then to glue into the bezel part with e 6000 glue. Does the diamond glaze hold it in? I also use a 1 inch punch for the round ones make it much easier.
Well, the 1 inch punch sounds awesome! much easier. So far, the diamond glaze has held fine on the tray. I think I've had mine for a month, so I guess time will tell. I do have the e6000 glue, just in case. I'll keep a watch on them to see if they hold, but so far...so good. Thanks for the ideas!!
I use Crafters choice the ultimate for gluing the bezel on. It isn’t suppose to be toxic. I do the drop of diamond glue like you. Do any of you know what needs to be done if you’re using an ink jet printer so the ink doesn’t run if you’re trying to do your own pictures?

@@susanglynn7189 that’s awesome! Glad you finally won something and I’m super glad it was from me!!
Opal & Bright!
You are so talented. Is there anything you can't make? Now I want to make jewelry. I ordered 3 quilt patterns and am going to try to hand quilt like you do. Could you show more of your hand quilts. Also could you show your cross stitching. How many hours a day do you spend on your projects?
I love Coral, opal, butterfly and lateen that’s the order I like but you did a beautiful job on all of them. Thank you
Coral Bright Opal Lantern. Your thread drops are gorgeous. I would love any of the four.
Beautiful demo. I have just recently started cross stitching after years of sitting it aside. I would love to win. They are all beautiful but here are my selections. Opal, coral, lantern and bright. Thank you.

Opal coral bright latern thanks so much. You are so kind and caring.
One little hint I learned from tracing quilt templates. Very fine sandpaper will hold your paper so it doesn’t slip!

@@logcabinstitcher7274 That’s good to know it would save a step. Thanks!
I use Crafters choice the ultimate for gluing the bezel on. It isn’t suppose to be toxic. I do the drop of diamond glue like you. Do any of you know what needs to be done if you’re using an ink jet printer so the ink doesn’t run if you’re trying to do your own pictures?
@@maryellenmcinnis7693 I’m not sure. Maybe a coat if mod podge.
@@vickikesler9897 I bought some, haven't tried it.
