    A great talent. This is a good interpretation of a rock'n'roll classic. Bob Luman was just great. He could sing anything. Wonderful!

    Gives Richard a run for the door. Wild and manic. Richard might be on piano even. Love Bob. Guitarist is hot

    That lead break is from Rock Around the Clock. What a class combination of musicians, great job everyone. In my opinion the best version of this song is Buddy hollys cover version, however i HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS IS BRILLIANT!!!

    The piano player and the guitar player are amazing ! Because of they I think it's the best rendition of this song ever. Even better than Elvis and Little Richard.

    • @Marakesh7
      @Marakesh7 2 года назад +1

      Little Richard's version is easily the best.

      It sure looks like him, but in fact its Bobby Gibson (gets namechecked on other clips from this gig) - who went on to play on "Ozark Jubilee Starring Red Foley" and even turned down a spot in Jim Reeves band.

    promagnum: I don't know, but what about Bob's suit and shoes? I'll bet they're rotting away next to an empty jar of Dippity Dew, and the top half of a Barbie doll that now houses a big red millipede!

    Not bad, but a joke when you compare it to Elvis' performance on the Ed Sullivan show, or Little Richard's original.
