In the case of James Maddison I respectfully disagree. He spends more time with sneaky attempts to con the ref than he does on passing the ball properly.
Maddison isn't good enough. Need a midfield that leads the other midfielders and create or start the attacks.
I agree spends too much time diving, whining and wind up opponents instead of doing what he does best. Or do both. But atm all he's bringing is shithousery and I was glad when he was brought off

Well said Barnaby. Last time I checked, the sun rised in the morning. Moments and execution were the minute separations between us and the Goons. TBH I think Shite housery begins at the Bridge on Thursday and the new dawn of Spurs will begin to shine. You make some very fair points Barnaby . You only had to look when Richi came on and immediately starting ruffing up the Woolwich defenders , they were not happy .
I think the biggest problem Ange has to deal with is the impatience of a section of the fan base . He has only been there 9 months , it will take time .
I am looking at the Chelsea game and have no expectations but if we get something it will be a bonus . Although think the players will have the match at our place in there minds , which could be interesting !!!!
Every Ange season, he improves his teams and get results.

Great, timely point! Yes, we do need more players ready to fight, trash-talk, foul hard, and scrap for a win. I wanted Richarlson to start because he has a long history of giving 150% to avoid relegation and playing like his life depends on it. Son as CF is easily swallowed up by the top teams. Can this sh*thousery be taught/coached? For some yes, some no. Moussa and Dele had it, I always felt they were on edge in the big matches. Vintage Chelsea had this in spades.

Yes you are right, Barnaby, it’s a cultural and psychological project turning Spurs around. I think Ange is the man to do it, but we need many things to fall into place, starting with key upgrades of our squad over the next two windows - with physicality - and perhaps a review of some coaching staff.

Sonny at Captain is a big issue. This team mentality needs to change and be championed by a proper Captain. Sonny isn't a real leader in the end and that was reflected on Sunday. Pivot to Romero and let him lead.
