My favorite Amoeba record artist in the bag memory is Ariel Pink buying a Pentagram & Chalino Sanchez album. I thought that was rad, cause my playlist will have some Ariel Pink followed by a few Chalino songs & my friends are just tripping on me. Lol.
Their first picks sucked but they cam back and made me like them in the end. awesome girls and I learned a thing or two which happens with artists from other countries.
Some Brazilians have an attitude about them, even prejudice and these girls show no prejudice in terms of their musical taste. Easy to know who's cool and who is just jealous.

Now the good music is mostly underground. Some great bands can still become popular, like Tool, The Black Angels, Savages, Godspeed you black emperor, Amon Tobin... But you don't hear these bands on any radio I know of... What happened to music, seriously... The amount of pure garbage people listen to is just mind blowing.
