Freedom song as I see it is their song for each other.. I am aware that many A’tin is saying that it is a song for the fandom.. I can see why too.. Pablo did say that however one interprets the song becomes the meaning of the song.. however my interpretation is based on the members’ initial explanation of the song… “They are each other’s freedom”. In one interview they did admit that the idea of putting up their own company started as early as while they were still in training. (My apologies I cannot name the exact clips where I heard all of these but I assure you they’re out there. I have watched so many that I couldn’t remember exactly which one) The Freedom MV focuses on how they enjoy each other’s company and how thankful they are for having each other. When Pablo was asked what the inspiration was for the Pagtatag Album, he answered “Kami” (Us). I remember him saying that they have been so caught up with so many things that they forgot to thank each other. The part of the MV that seals it for me is when they included the iconic image of them looking at the carousel.
The bond of A’tin and the boys is really special but as an A’tin I also maintain that not everything (they do) is about me. Their world does not ONLY revolve around me as an A’tin. Thus, my interpretation of their song Freedom makes it all the more compelling for me. Again, this is just MHO✌🏻

Actually, they were secretly building 1Z Entertainment, their own company, in late 2022 to get out of ShowBt. So, early 2023 they are out of ShowBt because they didn’t renew their individual contracts anymore but their group name SB19 trademark with ShowBt will end in January 2031 (6.5 years from now), that’s what the issue that they were in last November 2023 up to a week before AAA (Dec 14, 2023). As Chuck is saying, even though they entered into an agreement to still use the group name SB19, they still have to pay a hefty amount to ShowBt every month because ShowBt owns the SB19 trademark up to January 2031.

I think I heard Ken said he saw his parents only twice before that. They would rather save the money going home and just send it for their expenses. That is why in the concert where he cried when his sister came he promised ge could bring them home in time of rhe concert. What is so good about Jen and his up bringing too is he doesn't hold any grudge on his parents and appreciate their hardwork. Somehow that made him stronger as a person too and yet soft when it comes to family.

The boys didn’t say anything about the mistreatment they got from ShowBT after Tatang Robin left ShowBT. But the fandom knew their sufferings even the boys were quiet about it.
During that time has been also the hardest for the fandom. The boys had been silent for many months and comeback through AAA with a vengeance.

That's why their performance in the AAA was historical after a month of silence, uncertainties, anxiety if they will ever use their name again. Their Asia tour getting cancelled left and right. Some even wonder if they're still going to appear in the AAA, and yet they still held on and pushed forward. Not only was it historical it was also a proud moment to represent PH. It was also their first public appearance after a month of silence. It really was a PAGTATAG era, with what they've been through. They became even more stronger together.

SB19 name is still tied up to ShowBT until 2030 based on their agreement when they did not renew their contract and became self employed. The Gento era got so big that ShowBT legally added a clause, I think, that would generate more money from them. So they've been quiet about it as legal battle is going on. Good thing it got straighten up before AAA now they can flash that name and even receive awardS as SB19.

They didn’t change their group name to get out of the trademark issue but decided to continue to use SB19 and just pay ShowBt regularly (up to Jan 2031) because all of their hardworks (songs, music videos, social media contents like Showbreak episodes, etc) will all go to ShowBt.

So per the trademark that 1Z applied for and was approved, I think, in early 2021, even if Gento was produced under 1Z, the fact that it was promoted under the SB19 trademark, ShowBT supposedly owns the profit to those. That was the alleged subject of the settlement/agreement they had prior to reappearing for the AAA.
The rimeline is very right to understand hey? I hope the boys worked out a good deal with that. Gento IS the song!

From the start that SB19 announced their new 1Z Entertainment a month before AAA, and at the same time announced their Pagtatag Asian Tour to Singapore, Thailand, Dubai and Japan were all cancelled. At this time they were still under the new management of ShowBT. After all this, SB19 all kept quiet for more than a month. Until before AAA, SB19 drop a statement that they came up with a settlement that they can now get back their name SB19 and logo back. And All is well and ends well now. Both companies now moved on… SB19 came back strong and let everybody known with a strong opening act at AAA! Moonlight was their new single under 1Z Entertainment (Mahalima’s company)! Fyi
