I'm pretty sure the AI sliders have been in the games since 2014 at least. Because every year I put it on Legend difficulty and have to put the sliders even further up to make it super challenging. These look like the exact same sliders and options, just for each individual instead of the game as a whole. Which if THAT'S the case, then that's actually really cool. You can make Brock almost unstoppable and characters that are jobbers feel more like so.
@@NerdRageJ The sliders you are referring to was in relation to things like 'reversal rate, grapple rate, ground attack reversal rate' and things like that. These sliders are built into each character and control how often they reverse moves, and also their Intelligence in terms of how often they do certain actions. This is massive and yes, you should be able to make certain characters almost unstoppable with this addition 100%. No more Brock Lesnar losing to Sami Zayn lol
My thing with advanced entrances was the crowd reaction, if u changed some things in the entrance the crowd wouldn't react at all Edit: Cena should get an exclusive WrestleMania entrance as well(Mania 22, 23, 24, 25, 26)
😳Woooow they pulled it off with the feature of team stables that won't attack each other during Royal Rumble & Elimination Chamber matches It's been so stressful trying to throw myself between teams attacking or eliminating each other lol 😌 and grateful they added editing the AI slots on their behavior, I always wanted something we didn't thought of.

Bc Stone Cold, Cena, the Rock, etc aren't going to get normal pops, ya know? As a whole with the options and detail this year though, we're going in the right direction in general. Nice.
I really hope you can import custom teams into universe mode this year. I'm tired of having to make teams multiple times instead of being able to make them once and import them to a new universe
This latest bit of news locks in the purchase for me. Was looking for some small yet meaningful changes and these are perfect. Sometimes it's the little things in a game that can make it that much more special. The ability to control many facets of the A.I tendencies is an excellent addition. Hopefully this will alleviate some of the A.I's often ridiculous behavior. Also giving matches a more unique and authentic flow depending on each combination of superstars. Nice work Matt and I appreciate the format 10-15 min videos direct and to the point with your thoughts and opinions thrown in👍
@@shweeniemccocko2177 I'm sure in a lot of aspects it is but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The graphics, sound effects, gameplay we're very solid. I think they just needed to work on some AI fixes and stability for universe especially but also in the Create a wrestler and my faction even though I didn't play that very much. I hope this year's can have the perfect amount of polish and complete what was a very solid foundation built last year.
@@LawstoneRJR Well sure, the gameplay remains mostly the same with a few minor updates, but just like a was trying to tell everyone when that beta footage dropped, all the improvements were made outside the gameplay.
I hope to god they fix that weird glitch from 2k22 - 2k23 where if you choose a tag team in universe mode, they would never have a tag finisher save and i hope they fixed that on 2k23 universe mode.
I'm really glad about the Tag Team being set outside Faction. I always hated that the #1&2 spots were for Tag Teams. It always felt like I was putting the leader in the team and not as a single competitor
Love the updates, they put some thought into it. I do hope 2k posts a couple sizing templates for superstar renders at release. That would save a thousand gallons of time for a lot of people.

I think I’m preordering now with those AI changes and loyalty sliders. My biggest pet peeve with the AI was super heavyweights attempting top rope moves.
Okay, as a major CAW guy, these features are incredibly cool and will extend my gameplay for sure now that Advanced Entrance is back, I can adjust their AI and everything. I'm so excited
The A.I. Logic alone just secured my last minute pre-order. To this day I play Fire Pro for the sheer excitement it adds. I have so many matches and setups I NOW can make happen. I’m impressed with that alone. Let’s go. It’ll also freshen up the gameplay and replay ability is extended so much from that alone.

The sliders!! My ai settings video for 22 has the perfect realistic feel. No Sells are gone but it took soooo much manipulation of not only sliders, but characters stats. I’m happy to see they have more options to control the AI from just the option menu and not have you go in and change peoples stats so things look and feel real. At least I hope anywayfingers crossed. -- and no blue screens !!

One thing I miss from the old games is going I to options on the main menu and choosing a default arena to have every time you go into an exhibition match, saves time from changing the random arena chosen for you Have I missed this in 2k22, will it be in 2k23 or is that no longer a feature nowadays? I play as attitude era wrestlers all the time, so changing to a custom arena each time is tedious.
Some really dope stuff here like the AI sliders but maaaaaan having the same logo limit we've had for years now on these next gen systems is crazy. Pretty much forces you to choose if you want custom arenas or wrestlers with how detailed the best creators get.
While it's a shame I can't do a Royal Rumble in MyGM mode, it actually makes sense since all the gimmick matches are for PPVs and usually involve all the brands. So maybe they'll show up in the calendar in some way and you'll have to choose which wrestlers on your roster will compete? And you get bonuses if your wrestler wins maybe?
the advanced entrance creation looks alot more simpler and easier to understand compared to previous years, the arena looks alot more better and its nice to see more arenas to have our matches in
God, I hope they spent half as many resources fixing this thing. I so want to like their games but them being such a mess usually makes it very hard for me. Fingers crossed they nailed it this time.

I'm glad we can edit our CAW's weight again, but I wish body morphing would make a comeback to the create a superstar. I am really stoked about this A.I slider that they are putting in the game, even if it's been in other games I'm glad they are bringing it back which it what I hope 2K will start doing for some things.
I LOVE the loyalty system in multi man matches. This has been one of my bugbears for years in wrestling games. So awesome to hear it’s finally happening. From a fantasy booker perspective, I don’t like the class restrictions in GM mode. But Universe is for fantasy booking. Having the systems at play in GM mode is what makes it so competitive. I would like Power Cards to be able to overcome it for a rivalry or two per season though.
I love all the new features added to MyGM, I just wish they had a few more match slots, looks like there's still only 4 for weekly shows and 5 for PPVs. Also you can still only set main and women's champions at the start, I would like it if you could choose to set all of them.
The A.I. logic thing is amazing, it always looked strange to me when someone like Roman Reigns goes to the top rope or something. Now I can just turn it off, amazing.
Hopefully if I go into the Creation portion to make a custom entrance, I will be able to keep that entrance for my wrestler if they win a title. There were past years where custom entrances could not be combined with titles.

I was wondering if you would upload a universe mode guide when the game drops, because I love playing the mode, but it can be a lot to keep track of, idk if that's just me though. But especially stuff on like if you create your own weekly show, and how you manage that. Edit: Things like storylines as well, with how you manage and create good storylines, and tag teams/ factions, as well as how to make an effective roster. I usually pack my roster with big names from all generations, but that makes creating mid card, and building up storylines difficult at times
One more thing that I would like to know especially for universal mode is there a tab that separates the superstars in there show I miss that feature would be alot easier and faster setting up matches
There was a trick in wwe 2k22 in gm mode. If you changed all the superstars type to specialist, everyone matches with anyone. Therefore, you only need to pay attention to face or heel. Hopefully that's still in for 2k23.
The AI Sliders are gonna be big for things like AI vs AI EFeds on twitch because its gonna allow for that much more control over your superstars actions
One of the RUclipsrs I watch Ricky j gon love the royal rumble teams not fighting eachother feature he mentioned it so many times they need that feature for realism

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the shakeups option for MyGM has to do with stars switching shows. They are some really powerful abilities that will pop up you can use. Hopefully next year there will be trades.
Woods' card allows him to basically steal anyone from an opposing Faction which is huge, but yeah trades would've been awesome. Maybe there will be more cards introduced in similar fashion. Can't wait to see what it has to offer.

They also added something small back stage when you throw someone off of the thing there’s also a light you can land on now it’s small but it’s cool

do u know if there’s different commentary for shows like if I go to a raw I get the commentators for that show and it changes if I choose a smack down or nxt
Unfortunately it doesn't look like the shakeups option for MyGM has to do with stars switching shows. They are some really powerful abilities that will pop up you can use. Hopefully next year there will be trades.
Woods' card allows him to basically steal anyone from an opposing Faction which is huge, but yeah trades would've been awesome. Maybe there will be more cards introduced in similar fashion. Can't wait to see what it has to offer.
