  • These clips were recorded at various locations around Greater Philadelphia Area, paying tribute to SEPTA's Neoplan AN460 buses that dominated in the city.
    These buses were replaced by NovaBus LFS Articulated buses in 2016. Since I didn't upload (or record) any videos in 2016, I figured it's appropriate to make a tribute now. I still miss these buses.
    All the clips were recorded between July 2011 and June 2012

    I love to see Septa and NJ Transit Neoplans next to each other.

      I would too. But unfortunately it will never happen because SEPTAs are gone and NJT only runs theirs up north. However I could probably make a video like that in the future dedicated to Neoplan buses in general.

      DashTransit yea I know because I never Knew we had neoplans until 2006, because I’m from Atlantic City. it’s crazy that some of us in Jersey don’t know what the part of state has.
      That video would be great if you make it.

      I agree. Routes such as 9, 27 and 65 don't even use articulated buses even more, especially the 65.

      I agree. It's just that Allegheny Depot has a new route, the 49. However, it probably won't be until December 2020 when that route runs its first articulated bus. It's just using those 41 foot hybrids right now.

      @@danielsamuels5857 *40 foot hybrids
      and the 49's ridership doesn't exactly have it getting articulateds, though it might happen as like a once in a while thing - like in the case of a bus shortage.

    So how come they don’t have these buses any more ?

    • @DashTransit
      @DashTransit  5 лет назад +1

      They were 16 when they retired from services. Most buses barely make it to 12. Not gonna lie, I miss the sounds of struggle that they made lol

    I miss neoplans but my dad said he drove one a few years ago and it was incredibly hard to steer

    • @LPenn0505
      @LPenn0505 3 года назад

      I wonder why. Maybe they were just old. Most operators say that articulated busses are the easiest to drive.
