Having the actuator between the two adjacent gate sections may seem like a clever idea, but in reality all it does is fix the position of the two sections (that make up one gate) relative to each other when the gate is closed. The position of the two sections (that make up one of the two gates) are not fixed relative to the gate-post! All that is required for an intruder to gain access is to lift one of the roller wheels off the guide rail and the entire gate will swing out as one large section. While I like the idea of the actuator tucked away between the two gates while in the open position, interlocking gate pins, a mag-lock, padlock, or some other locking mechanism is needed to secure the gate against intruders while it is in the closed position.
