SpongeBob ends up going there without knowing so he could be alone in his thoughts for a while but ends up meeting other survivors there again it's not really a lot because Universe 0 is completely rare to find. think of it like earth but without any buildings but a few and no cars

You know, I like the difference in tone between this. The regular FInal Showdown feels more like a desperate struggle, while this feels more like Spongebob directly trying to fight the corruption on his own (Until Stanley and Girlsponge show up, at least.) Feels a lot more heroic in tone, and that's pretty cool to me.
Because at the end of Aftermath, it verifies that Sandy left and abandoned SpongeBob to find other people or just help, causing SpongeBob to deal with the corruption himself, and also causing him to become angry and disappointed in Sandy for leaving and abandoning him when he needed her help.
