    But as someone who has lived in many countries around the world, including a couple so unsafe carrying a gun was commonplace (not the US either), the only country I have found that might come close the being as good all-round is The Netherlands, possibly Denmark too.

Then I banned MSM from my life at all levels and from Soho to Richmond park to the rivers in Norfolk and the Scottish highlands I have started to travel and appreciate what a truly beautiful country/Island we live on. At one time the US might have been able to claim that title but the most recent issues plaguing this country, political, economic, social, medical, scientific, and educational have shoved this once great nation for the top of the list to down the list of Nations. Sad but true. The UK has a much longer historical, archaeological, architectural, economic and political history of significance that definitely puts it towards the top if not at the “tip top”. I love their content and what they often feature is often beautiful... but those words make me grind my teeth.
    My reply to anyone who says those words is... Nope.... But every country on the planet has the potential to be.
    Also, as someone who studies wildlife... UK actually has a extremely high density of wild life per km2/mil2 due to it being a small island with strict wildlife protections laws... however... it had a hell of lots more before those protections came to be (Most dangerous animals were made extinct due to human preservation conflicting with the countries small size). There is actually programs in place to reintroduce most animals made extinct from the islands by humans in controlled areas, including "Dangerous ones".

Mrs Doubtfire great film phenomenonally beautiful human being playing the character Daniel 'Robin Williams'. However repeatedly says the made up Mrs Doubtfire is English but has a clearly Scottish Accent. That just confuses people more.
    Much much love your a beautiful human being but please let people know The UK is technically several countries allways has allways will be. Regardless of the government control or the Royal history.

    I really don't like the concept of any country being "the best". It's an incredibly arrogant standpoint. Sure, we (the UK) have a load of good things. So do many other countries in the world. If you dig in to every country's history, I'm sure you'll find many things not to be proud of. Can't we all just strive to the best we can, and not score points off each other?

    As a Canadian of 70 yrs, I've watched the UK go from the epicenter of one of the greatest empires on earth to one of the worst woke, left wing, sniveling countries on the planet. The levels of cringe that the UK exudes are off the charts. I do not, however, say this from a position of superiority, because Canada has lost it's way and sold it's soul to globalism as well. The British Empire has become a dystopian nightmare.

    If you want to see wildlife in the Uk Amanda then you seriously need to move out of London.
    I think also we have the best sense of humour in this country, I’ve seen a lot of Americans that don’t like our humour and it’s because it’s too clever, you have to think about it whereas American humour is candid camera which is just not funny in the slightest but because it doesn’t have to spelt out loads of Americans love it. I also feel we have the most down to earth people in the Uk, we don’t care about impressing people, if other people don’t like us then they can f*ck off, that’s the attitude of the British.? I honestly think we have some of the best food over here, again plenty of Americans turn their noses up but those who actually try it absolutely love it whether it’s beans on toast, a full English or fish and chips. You are spot on about sarcasm in this country, again most people don’t realise that the more you get abused by your friends the more they like you. I don’t know any other country where you refer to your close friends as c*nts 😂😂

    I've always taken this country for granted. For such a long time I had aspirations to travel abroad and to get out of this damp hell hole. And in 2019, I finally could afford to get my passport renewed and go on holiday to Germany, my first holiday abroad since 2006. I had intended to follow it up with France and Hungary which i had booked and Ireland which I hadn't. But alas, thanks to Covid, all of those plans got put on hold. All holidays were cancelled, and even now, I have am yet to travel outside of the UK (though I have rebooked my France holiday.) But being locked away in lockdowns, I did learn to appreciate travel more. And even though until now, the idea of travelling abroad was scary because of covid, I found myself travelling around the UK a lot. From places i've never been which are right on my doorstep like Leicester to travelling to other countries i've never been, like Edinburgh, Scotland. Whether huge bustling cities like Manchester or Leeds or small towns and villages like Stamford, Colwyn Bay or Knaresborough. Whether visiting modern and evolving cities like London or old historic cities like Chester or York. I've been all over the UK these past 2-3 years, with plenty more destinations planned for this year (Plymouth, St Ives, Durham, Liverpool etc.) I have really grown to love this country because of covid. And incidentally, this travelling has led me to feel more patriotic. I appreciate the food and drink more, especially having tried traditional food in their places of origin, like a traditional Haggis in Scotland, freshly caught Fish and Chips in Whitby, just out of the oven Bakewell Puddings in Bakewell or a good old fashioned Melton Mowbray Pork Pie in, well, Melton Mowbray. Seeing palaces like Holyrood and Buckingham Palace as well as old historic castles which housed old monarchs have helped me realise how much I appreciate the royal family. I never would have thought that I would have taken such an interest in the Queens final days, even watching the funeral in a bar in York whilst I was meant to be on holiday. I've always admired British music and film, and having watched plenty of films during lockdowns and watching plenty of bands after lockdown, I really have more than ever felt a connection to British film and music. And on my travels I have visited many historical buildings which has made me take more of an interest in great British people, like visiting the Birth Places of Shakespeare and Guy Fawkes, the homes of Samuel Johnson, Thomas Cromwell and the Duke of Wellington, the graves of King Richard III and Arthur Tudor as well as places of artistic relevance like the Globe Theatre and a small hut in Rochester which belonged to Charles Dickens. I love this Island. I still want to travel abroad, but I'd also be happy to keep travelling the UK. There are still many places I want to visit be they cities or just small buildings and graves of interest. I want to learn more of our history, watch more of our films and try more of our food. I want to start making more of an effort on our traditions and holidays. Like attending fire work displays on bonfire night, watching the Kings coronation and attending (but not participating) in the annual cheese rolling.

My brother lives just outside Ascot and gets deer, foxes, rabbits, squirrels and hedgehogs in his back garden.

    Guys it's a joke right? First of all you should read about other country's economy, culture and future before judging. Inflation is highest in UK, a lot of retired criminals and terrorists settle in UK, economy is slowly going backwards. About history, you people should learn British history of looting other countries and how they suffer until now. Then rethink about being "Best country of the World". 👍

    • @lorddaver5729
      @lorddaver5729 Год назад

      Your comments smack of jealousy and made up BS. Britain has the 6th largest economy in the world. "Inflation is highest in the UK". No it isn't. "a lot of retired criminals and terrorists settle in the UK." Rubbish! Name some of them."the economy is slowly going backwards". Compared to which other economies? The economy of Russia is rapidly going backwards. "British history of looting other countries..." What do you think the other European colonial empires also did? Britain was not the only country with an empire. France, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Italy, all had colonies which they plundered. But you conveniently forget about those. Why do you think large parts of Africa are French speaking. Why was Algeria long known as "Algeria Francais"? Why do they speak French in Quebec? Why do they speak Spanish in the whole of South America (apart from Brazil) as well as in Central America and in Mexico? Why do they speak Portuguese in Brazil and in Mozambique? Why were the Dutch East Indies so called. Why was a vast area of central Africa known as the Belgian Congo? Why is German still spoken in Namibia? Why do Abbysinians still have bitter memories of their former colonial masters, the Italians?

    If Britain were a democracy, mass immigration, especially of the kind we have suffered, would not have been allowed. And if we had free speech people would be protesting about it.
