KNHL 13 and the FOX affiliate in Honolulu back then, KHON 2 was affiliated with NBC at the time. But at the start of 1996, KHNL and KHON swapped affiliations (with KHNL becoming an NBC affiliate, and KHON affiliated with Fox).
