I sucks that people don't have respect for Vietnam and Iraq war rifles. The Dragonov (pronounced Druginov) was designed after the AK47. The gun wasn't really designed to be a "Sniper" rifle. It was designed as a Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR). Sure newer guns are cool, but it's the pre-Iraq guns. The M1 Garand, Mosin Nagot, ect were pure warfare. I hate when people say clip instead of magazine. Clips and Magazines are two completely different things. A clip goes into a magazine. Guns were the magazine is built into the gun (M1 Garand and most bolt action rifles) use stripper clips to load the magazine. Clip isn't a nickname.

I friggin loved the F2000 in MW2. I didn't even really think it was that ugly, but to each his own I guess. What really turned me on about that gun was the feel. It's stats weren't even that good, it was pretty average tbh, but the iron sights were better than the ACR's and AK's, and something about the recoil just felt great. I can't explain why, because it's honestly not that good, but the F2000 is one of my favorite guns in CoD history.
I love the F2000, especially with the "hunter scope" on it. , I made the mistake of prestiging a few weeks ago and now I'm suffering because I miss it.

Fun fact about the F2000: When FN Herstral, the company that made the gun, first announced it, it was right around the time the first Halo game came out. People actually thought the F2000 was based off the assault rifle in Halo, and the other way around (The gun has a stock custom optic that makes it look even more like the Halo AR. Look at the BF4 variant seeing as MW2 never used it).
To anyone saying that the dragonov looks like the ak with scope, it's because the AK47 was such a notorious and popular weapon that it had variants. The RPK, dragonov are examples of a variant all made of of the base ak47
Aww come on! I love the Atlas 20mm. Yea its pretty huge stop sign overcompensation of a gun, but I think its the best sniper in AW. I feel like a monster with a cannon when I use it
Forgot to mention that the Dragunov also has one of the worst natural scopes ever, with it's weird chevron reticles. The G11 ironsights were the same ones used on many of the BO1 guns, including the FAMAS, AUG, Commando, and M60, and very similar to the Enfield.
Funny how everyone thinks the Type 99 is the ugliest, when the FAD looks like a dog shit it out, ate it, shit it out again, ate it again, and finally puked it up. Type 99 is also practically the same as the Bren from CoD3 or any other CoD... no mention of that though
I love the Dragunov. I prefer its wood finish to the black, plastic shit that it's made of nowadays. Though the recoil was a bit much in BO, it was still my go-to sniper unless I wanted to run the PSG. There's just something about the PSO-1 that I love. I also like the Type-99 except for the iron sights. It has a unique oddness to it. A sort of charm. For those who don't know, the PSO-1 is the scope on the Dragunov. I've been wanting one IRL for a long time.
I really have to disagree with the Dp-28 and the type 99 ! They are both great lmg's and if you get used to the iron sights of type 99 than it turns to a kick ass gun :D And the heavy plate like magazine (not a clip -_-) from the Dp-28 looks great and the reloading animation is awesome to :P

The iron sights on the Type 99 aren't really that bad if you can get past the huge mag coming out the top. And IMO the weirdness of the gun makes it cooler :)
I remember back in MW3 it took me like a month straight using only the Dragunov to get gold on it. The funny thing is, it's still better than some of the snipers in AW.

I think the Dragonov was one of the most awesome looking guns in Black Ops. it looked like the perfect mix of the rugged, Russian AK frame, with the precision of the more modern snipers. IMO

But other than that there are hardly any other pistols that use any sort of clip system. Almost every pistol you will ever see uses a magazine.
the Styer M1917 has an internal magazine and uses stripper clips. also some revolvers like the S&W Governor can fire certain rounds with a moon clip. that example would be that you can fire .410 .45LC, and .45ACP.
The atlas 20mm isn't too big. The PTRS-41 was almost 7ft long but you can't tell in game because it was shortened so you aren't holding a 7 ft rifle. The atlas does look accurate in a match if you compare its size from the model in the lobby
I disagree with you on the Dragonuv SVD. It doesn't look TOO bad, and it does perform well, just not as an instant killing sniper. It has low recoil, low sway, large-ish magazine. It's a great gun if you've got that little bit of time to double tap the trigger, or to actually aim for the head. It's also the best sniper for playing hardcore. And I think the Dragunov SVU in Ghosts looked nice. It also did pretty damn well. Two shot kill at any range, even when suppressed, with possible one shots out to a fair distance. With the thermal hybrid on it, you had a low sway scope, as well as a dot sight for close range.
the G11 IRL is a caseless firing weapon (the shells do not have a brass casing on them) so it looks a "little" different then any cased shell firing gun
The DP saucer clip was used as tactical advantage in real life because the disc would run out of ammo and it would spring off but it doesn't happen in game in real life it was easier for people to get that reload time down
I think the Dinner Plate ( DP for the people who don't know the nickname ) is one of the most unique guns, it looks weird and it is so fun to play with

AE4 Gigawatt has the WORST ironsights in FPS history. when i first got it i was like 'wtf???' first attachment i put was red dot. unusable with those sights and if anyone prefers to play with those, they are clearly not all there!
I actually kinda liked the type 99 from WaW the iron sights did kinda suck but I think number one should be the type 100 its just a big tube with the mag sticking out
But....but....those were some of my favorite guns. I'm one of those people who would use guns other people wouldn't touch and don't usually use the REALLY popular guns unless the weapon is just too good for me to NOT use. Especially the type of attachments I put on them. For example in the first Black Ops, I would put an ACOG sight and a suppressor on the Dragunov. Loved that class for S & D.
The Type 99 isn't exactly good looking, but honestly, I think it's reasonably cool, mostly in it's uniqueness (also, I'm kind of a sucker for ww2 firearms.) Looks aside though, it really wasn't half bad, with the exception of the fact that you couldn´t see too much out on the left hand side

I think the Enfield looks great... and it's the precursor to the L80 series, which are my favorite line of AR's, Carbines, and LMG's.

I liked the DP-28 because it is part of Tachanka's gun. It's an RP-46 with some DP-28 parts

Dragunov is hot af for me, it's a pitty the damage call of duty gives it, even though it shoots the same caliber of other sniper rifles with higher damage (7.62mm) same as the AW L96A1
All of this guns look sick in trickshots!
Type 99 may have been hideous but slap double tap on that bad boy and it was a beast!
The chicken (Chicom or whatever) looks pretty slick tbh, it just isn't good after they nerfed it.

Although the type99 was ugly it was such a good gun. I loved mowing people down with that thing. It was second only to the browning.

Ugly doesn't mean bad. Of coarse the chicom is an exception, but in the time that I had WaW, I kicked ass with a type 99.

AE4 Gigawatt has the WORST ironsights in FPS history. when i first got it i was like 'wtf???' first attachment i put was red dot. unusable with those sights and if anyone prefers to play with those, they are clearly not all there!
I actually kinda liked the type 99 from WaW the iron sights did kinda suck but I think number one should be the type 100 its just a big tube with the mag sticking out
But....but....those were some of my favorite guns. I'm one of those people who would use guns other people wouldn't touch and don't usually use the REALLY popular guns unless the weapon is just too good for me to NOT use. Especially the type of attachments I put on them. For example in the first Black Ops, I would put an ACOG sight and a suppressor on the Dragunov. Loved that class for S & D.
The Type 99 isn't exactly good looking, but honestly, I think it's reasonably cool, mostly in it's uniqueness (also, I'm kind of a sucker for ww2 firearms.) Looks aside though, it really wasn't half bad, with the exception of the fact that you couldn´t see too much out on the left hand side
