Kevin's slow, controlled, accurate crawling is so great and basically the only one on RUclips showing it. Everyone else is bashing and mashing all day. This is so much more enjoyable to watch.
I have mad respect for your trail skills and sense of adventure! The Lite Brite crew is funny, technical, and always entertaining. Thanks for showing us what's possible! Britney is a boss spotter and Kevin appears to respect and trust her implicitly. Keep bringing us your fun and compelling content!
The wrench light may have been triggered by sensors in the auto transmission and placed it into safe mode to prevent damage from poor fluid pick up. They aren't really designed for rock crawling or steep angles.
Happy Birthday Kevin! When I first clicked on this and saw the license plate I thought I had clicked on old LBN video from about five years ago! Same damage, same location! Are you getting taller or is Brit's hair getting shorter? Heart Wrenching moments on the trail are what we watch y'all for! Reeses for the Win! LiteBriteNationGetsSquirrely!
Happy birthday Kevin! What a awesome way to spend it, friends and family! I personally think the bronco did fantastic, it's mostly stock and was able to do just about everything, that's impressive. Helped a lot having good driver skills, knowledge of which way "passenger and driver" means. Also a absolute rock star of a spotter! Looking forward to the next video.
2 years ago we were lucky enough to be invited to do this trail along side a non SAS Bronco. Mitch Creel (from Wild Horses) was driving the non SAS Bronco along with his film crew and had one of the Ford engineers along with him. We had a pair of modified early Broncos one as a trail guide and one as tailgun. The Gen6 Bronco did amazingly well with only a little gas tank skid plate tweaking and a couple rock rash wheel beauty rings. I was impressed. Now to take the WT on it this fall.
Happy Birthday Kevin! Back in 2009-2010ish, I tried to do this trail with my Jeep friends in my slightly lifted 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 33's, haha. I couldn't even make it past the gatekeeper and I was so embarrassed. But, in my defense, I was still VERY new to offroading and didn't have the experience yet and my so called "friends" just kept on going and left me behind until 10 minutes passed and one came back to check on me (I was the trailing vehicle). I was able to pull the Jeep GC to the side of the road, lock it up, and ride with that person in their TJ to at least see all of Chinaman's Gulch. I've always wanted to go back to conquer it on my own but just haven't got the chance yet.
HBD Kevin! Britney, you always amaze with your spotter skills. Watching the Bronc on the rocks makes me really appreciate the better flex of a solid front axle setup. IFS is great on relatively flat terrain and you don't have to fight death wobble, but for a trail toy/weekend warrior, I still think the Wrangler is more capable. But you two certainly worked that Bronco nicely through the rocks. I had the same problem with my JK (no throttle response while in gear) after running a rock garden at AOAA -- it freaked me out. Checking the DTC's I saw an error with the electronic throttle positioning sensor (something like "improbable sensor reading"). But like you, after shutting off and restarting the engine, everything was fine and it never happened again.
Happy Birthday Kevin !! Looked like a great time with great friends . I see a lot more upgrades for the Bronco coming soon. Fantastic video as always guys . Catch you on your next video , Take care .
I have a 2011 ford escape that has done the orange wrench several times randomly. Limp home mode saves you from doing damage because something was triggered. Mine mostly has been a transmission thing where it wants to slip a gear. Turning on and off has always fixed it.
It is what it is ....and it's broke !!! That's how I feel right before I tear something up . Thanks for the entertainment guys . You are awesome at what you do. 😊
Happy Birthday Kevin!!! Nice job with the Bronco, surprised there was not a 4wd mode with all the new gizmos to allow more torque (abs/trac/ stab ctrl off?) or wheel spin (a-trac software copy?); that license plate mishap was meant to be - seemed quite fitting and ironic; you have the princess approval for smooth ride - namely that rear passenger who fell asleep from the lines you took and control you have; surprised the tires made it through with the 50-60k treadwear compound - v8/weight/airdown/ placebo beadlock (or did you switch them for video?) sure helped, great nitto promo video for the tires. Hard to find aggressive tires to match the speed rating of the braptor. You guys rock - still remember the whale tail ( I believe anyway) was one of the primary reasons you added the intake oil catch can back on the N/A 3.6 stepchild (possibly had stock wheels still - could be wrong); noticed no oil smoke this time on a stock vehicle of yours this whale tail trek - nice. Always awesome job on the editing; also easy to see how calm you kept the obstacles viewing the precious cargo in the back seat - mom was happy too.
Great way to spend a birthday! Happy B-Day! Don't post much and don't know much about spotting, but thought this after watching many of your videos. Brittany seems to be one hell of a spotter!
Happy (belated) Birthday Kevin! Looks like a fun trail! My BRaptor did the same thing with the wrench light and limp mode after a challenging spot on the trail in Moab. Restart also fixed it. Code showed a Powertrain fault. Only happened once and will have to see what situation triggers it. Have been amazed though with what I can do with the BRaptor!
Just wanted to congratulate Kevin on the up coming Birthday Sex 😂😂😂🤘🤘🤘Erin cracked me up “ if ya got no payments on your jeep go this way , 90 payments left go that way” 😂😂😂
I have the 2023 BRaptor and I've had the amber wrench with the throttle cut twice while wheeling it. One time was on a descent! Both times I shut it off and restarted to clear the problem. No big deal so far but I'm hoping that sooner or later Ford can figure that out. Am planning the Next Venture Skids, sliders and diff cover and the FMI tie rods next. Love your stuff!
Do you have a tool to pull the codes? It would be a great idea for issue like this. I did Chinaman Gulch in my 74 Bronco, no issues other than waiting/fixing other rigs that broke down that day. Great trail!
Happy Birthday Kevin! Great Day On The Trails, but the real Birthday Present Is Gonna Be At The Hotel!! 😂!! The little girl in back was so cute wheelin and wanting to go go go! And the squirrel was pretty cute also!!!
Happy Belated Birthday Kev. Did you get that "Soon to be seen" new vehicle as a present? I hope so. Sweet video and congratulations on tearing up that bumper and license plate holder. Someday, Ford may learn to pay attention, right?... And it is always a joy when Brittany says, "Steer driver", and the person steers passenger. LOL. Left/Right for some persons is the best means. Nice spotting, Brittany.
I'm thinking that both Jeep and Ford put the license plate there so you will rip it off and put on a different bumper. Happy Birthday Kevin! Will have to remember the Reese's Birthday cake for the next time I'm on the trail with friends.
Happy Birthday big guy, awesome way to spend your birthday. The Raptor is doing pretty good. Glad to see you guys back on the trails. Excited to see Step Child when she gets back at it. Tks agin for sharing with all of us. wishing you guys blessed travels. See you at Jeep Inv in TN
You guys should get an Autel scanner and bring it with you off road, so you can determine what that wrench symbol is telling you... and if it is a minor or major issue just a suggestion, love your content keep it coming...
I enjoy watching your guys content because I’ve never wheeled anything newer then an 05 Colorado on one tons or a Jeep TJ and it just seems nerve wracking wheeling such a nice vehicle. The electronics where it wouldn’t let him throttle or the wrench light seem they’d be extremely annoying compared to something older
Happy birthday 🎂🎊🎉🎁. Remember Kev keep the wheel straight for wheel planting so u don’t snap anything. Did my 1st beach obstacle course at Jeep Invasion it was So fun
when sxs's get errors usually a restart fixes them but good strategy waiting, n love the jeep couldnt go around the boulder but COULD go OVER it lol ur friend is so cute too!
Welcome to the family 😂. I'm not sure how Kevin felt playing in the Rock Garden, I know I was pinching leather sitting here in my recliner 🫣. Awesome video guys ❤️❤️💯🤙
Happy birthday Kevin....Kudo's have to go to whomever chose the birthday cake. Also, Britanny remains one of the best spotters I have seen. In our stable here, we have both a reasonably well built JK and a nicely built 79 CJ7...the trades between vehicles is well articulated in this video.....the CJ7 now sits with a cover on it, cuz the JK can run groceries during the week and to, through, and back from the trail on the weekends...tough to beat.
Sorry if I have somehow missed this but the BRAPTOR needs a proper nickname. You have the step child, demon child and the side chick. How about… THE CREEPY UNCLE!! Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week.
Happy birthday Kevin! That looked like a awesome day to spend it for a birthday :D Awesome people, nice views and killer rigs :D plus a beautiful wife along, what more could you want :D Looking forward for the next video or video from Colorado !
That view is of Mt. Princeton. Over there is Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Check it out sometime if you haven't already. Pretty cool place. Pool above the road in summer, below the road in winter. Also, check out Bishop's Castle and climb all the way to the top. It is a crazy place worthy of a video. Not a road though, a castle built by one man.
Happy Birthday Kevin. I'm not a Bronco fan it's not or even build to be a rock crawler. It's needs aftermarket components to do the impossible 🤔. Stay safe for the lovely couple.
Kevin's slow, controlled, accurate crawling is so great and basically the only one on RUclips showing it. Everyone else is bashing and mashing all day. This is so much more enjoyable to watch.
I know NOTHING about 4 wheeling/rock crawling but personally I think the both of you have mad skills!
The Bronco is a beast! Love it! 👍🏻

It’s good to finally see a bronco raptor on the Colorado trails!
You guys just filmed the best Jeep commercial ever. 👍
@@jessejordan3228 hahaha

Brittany is such a good spotter! Always so impressed.
That back bumper begs to differ. Needs two way communication that voice yelling all day yikes 😳
She has great instinct and quick judgment calls. Very impressed!

TY for the fun vid! Life is much nicer in a Jeep ❤ Happy Bday Kevin!
Happy Birthday Kevin !! Looked like a great time with great friends . I see a lot more upgrades for the Bronco coming soon. Fantastic video as always guys . Catch you on your next video , Take care .
Awesome trail, filming and editing and love the squirrels at the end.👍
It’s good to see that someone is still calling it chinamans gulch!
it is soooo refreshing to see a classic LBN offroad video. I miss these so much.
Love seeing you out on the trails in the Bronco, I just got OnX using you Promo!!
The ending was priceless with the chipmunks 🐿 ❤
Happy Birthday Kevin !!!! 🎉 That trail looks fun . Thanks for showing us .
Happy Birthday Lite Brite ! I'm guessing an OBD-II scanner is in your guys' future. Little icons of mystery are nerve wracking!
When are you getting a scanner? no free looks on the trail from the auto parts store
Yes! Videos like this are why I subscribe to the channel.

It's been about 15ys since I ran Chinaman, and it has really changed. Happy B-Day, Kevin!
It is what it is ....and it's broke !!! That's how I feel right before I tear something up . Thanks for the entertainment guys . You are awesome at what you do. 😊

An OBD II reader fits really nice into your glovebox.
Its REALLY worth having an ODB2 scanner with you. I have one that connects via bluetooth to my phone. Its really handy for cases like you had.
Happy (belated) Birthday Kevin! Looks like a fun trail! My BRaptor did the same thing with the wrench light and limp mode after a challenging spot on the trail in Moab. Restart also fixed it. Fordpass app should send you notification of any issues with bronco like when you got the wrench on the screen will tell you actual issues.
This definitely looks like a fun trail.
And only about 60 miles from the house. I'll be trying this out sometime to put the Gladiator to a test!
I have the 2023 BRaptor and I've had the amber wrench with the throttle cut twice while wheeling it. One time was on a descent! Both times I shut it off and restarted to clear the problem. Kevin out here tryna be the king of crunch, Happy Birthday boss. The most GOLDEN content of all. Stay safe :)
Happy Birthday Kevin! Great Day On The Trails, but the real Birthday Present Is Gonna Be At The Hotel!! 😂!! The little girl in back was so cute wheelin and wanting to go go go! And the squirrel was pretty cute also!!!
Happy Birthday Kevin! You guys inspire me so much. Glad y'all got the braptor out in one piece 😂
Crazy about the bumper!!! I have an ADD front bumper on my Braptor, but now I may have to think about the rear bumper as well 🤪🤪🤪
Happy birthday Kevin. Have to say it did way better than I thought it would
Happy Belated Birthday Kev. Did you get that "Soon to be seen" new vehicle as a present? I hope so.

This is Exactly why Kevin needs an LJ… none of those damn AI computers to ruin your day
I'm thinking that both Jeep and Ford put the license plate there so you will rip it off and put on a different bumper. Happy Birthday Kevin! Will have to remember the Reese's Birthday cake for the next time I'm on the trail with friends.

Happy Birthday Kevin!!! And welcome back to Colorado to the both of you!!
Happy Belated Birthday Kevin!!! 🥳🎉🎂 Finally hit the big 30 😉. Jelly would love it if you brought Alvin home ❤️❤️💯🤙
You folks are Nuckin Futz...don't ever change!
supper cool , I have basically the stockish version of that JK , got me a little more motivated to start the build
You guys should get an Autel scanner and bring it with you off road, so you can determine what that wrench symbol is telling you... and if it is a minor or major issue just a suggestion, love your content keep it coming...
BlueDriver OBD2 port reader, travel with it. When you get those issues plug it in first and see what's up.
We usually keep a reader in the Jeep, def need one for the Bronco. 😅
Happy Birthday Kevin! Great video thank you!
Great group of people and great entertainment. Happy Birthday, Kev.
Happy Birthday Kevin ...Always Love Riding Along With You And Britney.!!! God Bless
Happy birthday Kevin! I’m sure you liked/loved all your gift! Keep up the good work, both of you!
For that weird wrench. I found that some PCMs have a dealer update that's needed. It lost power to a sensor.
Happy Birthday Kevin. I would have to do something different with those fender flares. They just look funny
Happy birthday Kevin! It looks like the Braptor needs a trans cooler upgrade as well. Stock doesnt work in 4low crawling.
Happy birthday, Kevin.
This is a great example of driver mod!😂
Kevin had a birthday...is he in Guinness yet ?
23:20 And that is the magic of a 110" wheelbase.
Happy Birthday, Kevin.
Great trail.
Looks like your IFS upgrades really paid off, but that 2 door JK was awesome!!
Those fender flares are hilariously huge on the Braptor!
Happy Birthday Kevin! I’m looking forward to seeing you guys again at Jeep Invasion next month in Tennessee.
Happy birthday Kevin, you are the best!!
Happy Birthday Kevin ! Make sure the kids get some treats.
Those critters at the end are Golden-mantled ground squirrels. Chipmunks have the stripes over the eyes.
Welcome to the family 😂. I'm not sure how Kevin felt playing in the Rock Garden, I know I was pinching leather sitting here in my recliner 🫣. Awesome video guys ❤️❤️💯🤙
The Bronco is a beast. It would've handled anything out there.
Happy birthday Kevin....Kudo's have to go to whomever chose the birthday cake. Also, Britanny remains one of the best spotters I have seen. Today at work I saw a hemi swapped gladiator on solid axles and 42s and it was so sick. You never see those in Michigan. (at least where I am)
I laughed out loud at the candle at the end! Haha
Happy Birthday Kevin!! Mine was the 17TH. LBN is an absolute inspiration!! (What is it a tarantula? HA HA HA!)
Happy birthday Kevin 🍀🎂🎁🎈 you did a great driving job. Awesome video
Looks like the recon grapplers are holding up and performing really well! I’ll be getting them for my ‘23 392!
Happy Birthday Kevin, hope yer having /had an awesome one man.
You guys should carry an OBD scanner module in the vehicles.
Somebody's getting a shiny new bumper and a plate relocated. ❤ same thing happened to my badlands on its first trail.
The same Engineer that made the Jeep bumper also must of had something to do with the Ford bumper. Hahahahaha 😅
Oh happy birthday 🎂 Kevin and many more.
Happy Birthday Kevin. God bless wishing you the best. Nice to see what the Braptor can do. Take care.
Happy Birthday, Kevin. Woo
Happy belated birthday Kevin. The Bronco did do some weird stuff on the trail. The scenery was awesome.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 🎂
That was fun. Happy Birthday Kevin
Sorry if I have somehow missed this but the BRAPTOR needs a proper nickname.
You have the step child, demon child and the side chick.
How about…
THE CREEPY UNCLE!!
Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week.
Happy birthday Kevin! I wonder if a 5 star tune would fix the cut out throttle issue but it did really good.
Happy birthday Kevin! That looked like a awesome day to spend it for a birthday :D Awesome people, nice views and killer rigs :D plus a beautiful wife along, what more could you want :D Looking forward for the next video or video from Colorado !

"We both have the same right" 😂👏
Happy BELATED Birthday Kevin, I'm playing catch up again! 🎂
Happy Birthday Kevin. I hope you have a wonderful birthday but you're going to have to take a Jeep and dump the Ford ! Lol
Lightbrite should do British Columbia trails when they are open in summer ..the season is short up in the BC high country so you need to time it right
Here's a thought. Raptor is a Baja off roader. If your Rock crawling. Take the back bumper off. Lol
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!🎉🎂🥳🎁🎈
Happy Birthday Kevin. I'm not a Bronco fan it's not or even build to be a rock crawler. It's needs aftermarket components to do the impossible 🤔. Stay safe for the lovely couple.
🤡
Enjoyed the videos!!
