It's been YEARS since my Arcana "phase" but I still remember how enveloped I became in the story and especially Asra. And then the soul-crushing moment I decided to try and get the Reversed ending after originally getting the Upright. I cryed my EYES out and then went online to find comfort videos, then found this one and CRIED EVEN MORE. God-tier animatic that I'll still watch every now and again to this day just because it's so well done and worth the goosebumps and tears from the memories it brings up
SAME I'm back here after years and I just love the experience this fandom offered me, it's nostalgic and so sad at the same time

I wish I wish Asra or a guy like him existed. Oh please I need a guy like him. I'm already desperate for him & this video just took me deep into cold ocean. asra is the first character i got my eyes on, he's my first choice of route and he's my first finished route. upright or reversed, he never let our hands go. vesuvia or oasis, we're his only world.

Okay let me start off by saying I was not ready for this and then you hit me with 1:49 and am a blubbering mess.
Like, it’s one thing to read what asra actually did for mc, but to have an artistic depiction of what it could’ve remotely looked like is completely different. Just seeing the image of him extending his hand to the devil gave me CHILLS. All the really powerful moments of asra's route; mc dying, dealing with the devil, giving up part of his heart and reuniting with his love, seeing everything visually makes it insanely more powerful. I can't describe it. I feel like I've just fallen in love with him all over again.
What is it with everyone making AMAZING arcana animatics? I could edit this a dozen times and keep adding more of what i have to say, but all in all you should be VERY proud of this. So emotional. I'm gonna go cry over Asra now. Have a lovely day

Damn this hurts so good. I was glad I did Julien's route first because I couldn't leave Asra's route after knowing what he did and how much he loved us. So brilliantly and boldly and violently he loved us that he gave up half his being because he couldn't live another day without us. He loved so wholly and even once we were back he let us leave and love another. And if that doesn't fucking read you up inside idk what could. This animatic really just beautifully captures that energy and his emotions and the mixed feelings and love and loss from his route. Amazing job

I definitely shouldn't have done Asra's route first... I did Julian's route after, and as they describe the pain on asra's face and the sadness in his eyes I instantly knew what he was sad about. it definitely made it a heck load more depressing.
I now regret not doing his route....
Also, can you do one with Water Fountain by Alec Benjamin with Asra, mc, and Lucio? That'd be beautiful and just as emotional.

Everything about this art is stunning. This is one of my favorite fanmade animation.
You're so talented. It accurately shows the plot of Asra's route. And it's also what I imagined on my mind.
I also feel guilty having to play Julian's route but I can't finish it because of Asra. I don't know why but I felt like I'm hurting him in the story. It aches my heart to see him when he looked like he wanted to tell me to stay by his side.
I fell inlove for Asra badly, AND I haven't felt this way to any fictional characters that I've fallen to. Duuuuude, ain't that weird.
The devs of this game is awesome. This game will be forever stuck in my mind, heart, and soul. It sounds funny but yeah, it will really be with me forever.

I feel like people underestimate how much suffering Asra has really gone through. He lost EVERYTHING; his parents, his home, and then the love of his life. Imagine the sheer pain he experienced when the apprentice woke up, not remembering a single thing. That’s 6 years of love, experiences, and emotions, all forgotten. And trying to get them to remember anything could cause long term damage. And to top it all off, theirs a 1/6 chance that they will even love him again. It’s a horrid thing to think about

i originally got the upright ending and was curious so replayed the last seven chapters (sabotaging myself) leading to the end and got the reversed ending. it's so amazing that the emotion i got from this was a complete match of that when i finished the reverse ending. i feel like crying but it's just so beautiful.
