I love the theatrics in the first minute of this interview. The cameraman was appropriately situated to capture the "tense" initial interaction.

Best Journalist in Nigeria. 🎉🎉 The Government should support these people since they failed to fix their own refinery. These people feel cheated. We have thesame oil SaudiArabia has.

Beside the environmental hazards. I completely agree with the last speaker. The Niger delta youths are a very peaceful people.Imagine some journalists going to Zamfara to go and interview those bandits and ask them why their stealing the golds in that state?Trust me, that journalist will not come back alive.

I have been saying this for many years and would continue to say it. The only way to jump start Nigeria economy is to legalize this so called illegal refinery, give them license , small funding from bank of industry to ensure they start producing and refining oil in large quantities that would help drop the price and you dont have to subsidize oligarchy. The likes of dangote and otedola would still be able to make their money by the federal government making deals with other african countries to export Nigerian refined oil thereby remitting more funds. This is not rocket science, all over Oklahoma, Texas there are mini refineries , if you have small money you can buy an oil well, refine and sell to gas stations. Nigeria govt use your brain and think, protecting a few oligarchy is not bringing wealth to your nation but subjecting you into continous poverty. When you point one finger at someone remember four comes back to you, do well for your people and you would reap the wealth in four folds.

This is a disgrace and environmental disaster waiting to happen. How can the main source of Nigerian oil wealth be treated which such neglect and unprotected. If the major oil producing Countries like Saudi Arabia have such negligence for their primary source of income, they would not be as wealthy as they are today. One Could see that the Nigeria government is not serious of Oil theft in Nigeria. If Nigerian Government want to stop these disaster a fly over and monitoring of the area with military drone could stop this.
