Jane Fonda has been one of my favorite people since I was a little kid and got super obsessed with movies like Barefoot in the Park, Barbarella, A Walk on the Wild side!! These were all decades old by the time I saw them and everyone thought I was weird for those being my favorite but she is a damn goddess. Still has it 60 years later.

Read the book Haywire by her friend, Brooke Hayward, to see what Jane was like as a kid and the way she acts in this bit will make more sense. The Fondas and the Haywards were each given determinedly non-Hollywood brat upbringings. Henry Fonda was once married to Brooke's mother, the actress Margaret Sullavan. Tragic family, though.
