- Masiphumelele residents are no longer interested in politicians and their promises as South Africa prepares for the local government elections. More than 6,000 people were left homeless and others placed in temporary tin houses after a fire ravaged 1,000 homes in December last year. The residents Eyewitness News spoke to said that the government had failed them because they were still in a desperate situation, 10 months later.
The problem in the western cape is that everybody from other areas where they dont get services, flock to western cape, and once here, demand services......the western cape cannot cope with the influx......
Just so everyone knows this is Cape Town.
True , if it was anywhere else they wouldn't have got free tin shacks.
and the adults there are incapable of participating/teaching the youth sports activities because???? what are the adults so busy with that they can't spend time mentoring their own youth?
I dnt blame dem, over 2 decades of democracy and dey still stuck here but money is Looted in millions resulting in billions but nothing fr dem.
There's other ethnicities struggling why aren't their voices expressed in this video🙄
Like who ?
@@dailyfx1415 that's a real ignorant question
but you still vote ANC
Shame vote for Anc again instead for DA.
I just hope they didn't register to vote, because if they did and fail to show up at the voting stations their vote automatically goes to the party they voted for before or ruling party not sure how it works , which in most cases here is ANC, eish mara
