She did not participate in class research at the university where her father was a professor, plagiarized other people's thesis and proudly showed her face on TV and boasted that she received a doctorate. At that time, the advisor who was in charge of her said, "Hong Jin-young I've never seen her in her university, class. It's very likely that her father had a high influence." Her university is located in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province. It's a university, and Hong Jin-young is a singer in Seoul. It was revealed on the air that I received A+ in all subject grades. People in the university had many doubts that they could not get a doctorate without immersing themselves in research, but it was revealed that there were more cases of giving fake degrees to the children of professors at this university after Hong Jin-young's plagiarism case. The fact that she cheated and lied has actually hurt numerous fans her country and been banned on TV for over two years because of that, but now she is coming out again. She is nothing but a pretentious liar. Absolutely, not worth for a second of your time. She is a fraudulent criminal who has been working on her own interests for decades with her fake PhD. In Korea, plagiarism is a serious crime. Isn't that a crime in your country? It is hoped that plagiarism of her dissertation and obtaining a fake degree is a very serious crime in the whole world.

In the same country, different attitudes were toward the event of plagiarism. As far as i know, a few people submitted HJY's event to the president's office, but only gained over 6000 people's support!! The standard the office sets to receive the petition is more than 100,000. Plagiarism is a serious crime in your country, and thus HJY should be put in prison, but, until now, she is still not convicted. Maybe some people hated her due to different reasons, but many videos show that she is still popular when she travels to any place of your country to do her singing job. Maybe you hate her, but, from the videos made by your compatriots, many south Koreans like her. So, please hold the same attitude towards your first lady. I don't want to have any debate with you. And she's still (in 2023) "one of the most hated celebrities"? That's some long-lasting hate! So, when someone messes up in Korea, the person is not allowed back ever? How does that work - he/she will be kept out of work and income, and preferably made homeless and living on the streets for the rest of his/her life? Is that the goal with cancelling someone? I did find out about Hong Jin-young being cancelled soon after the cheating was found out.
