- Here's Putt-Putt Travels Through Time. In this game, Putt-Putt visits Mr. Firebird for the second time in his workshop where he presents his new Time Portal invention, which allows the past and future to be seen without actually traveling there. However, his invention goes haywire after Mr. Firebird starts its machine, and opens up. Putt-Putt's items; his history report, his calculator, and his Smokey the Fire Engine lunchbox, & Pep are sucked into time. Putt-Putt must retrieve his lost things in order for Mr. Firebird to close the portal for good.

im really happy watching this. These games were my childhood. Nostalgia overwhelmed
When I was just a little kid once when I played this game, I actually saw the first part of the intro cutscene when Putt Putt was trying to wake up, Pep! But when he tries to wake him twice, he suddenly falls right back to sleep, but when a tasty bone treat gets involved he suddenly sniffs the treat, wakes up and hops into Putt Putt’s backseat! That was really like the funniest thing that I could ever remember from a very long time ago, myself!
I know this is a kids' game and all, but last time I checked, while you are time traveling and you tell people where you are from, it tends to alter the timeline.
When I was just a young kid like myself, I actually saw second part of the intro cutscene and when I just saw that time portal go completely haywire I had feared the worse! And then it just sucked everything in the time portal including Pep, and I really felt so sorry for him because he has always been my favorite puppy doggie ever!
Ah, memories even as a young kid like myself because I used to play this game ever since that I was like 3 or 4 years old once and it still takes me back!

From all the times I played this game back in the day, I never saw that particular path before (the history report in the old west and the knight armor). Thanks for sharing!
I played this game a TON as a kid to the point where a lot of it is burned into my memory, yet I don’t think I ever got the history report in the Wild West either. Everything else I believe I got at least once if not multiple times, but the mission of searching for Virgil Clyde is totally foreign to me… it’s quite fascinating watching it here, almost like a tiny missing piece of my childhood was just found.
Yeah I know. I never knew you could oil Toby more then once for another coin. He never even tells you that you can. Not even when you click on him. If only he did then it would have made that one path paying for the newspaper when the history report is in the future and the armor to get the lunchbox when it's in the dinosaur age much easier.

Me: Wake up, Peppy boy!
Putt Putt: Samuel’s right, and besides, I promised Mr. Firebird we’d come over this morning so I could show him my history report! My calculator, and my Smokey the fire engine lunchbox!
Funshine: Yeah, so wake up, Pepsters!
Ryder: Yeah, and the same goes for you, Marshall! So please, wake up!
Marshall: (groans) Ryder, please! Just 5 more minutes left! (Goes back to sleep)
(Putt Putt tries to wake up, Pep, but fails as Pep yawns and then goes back to sleep)
Me: That isn’t gonna work! Any other ideas?
Frankie: I got an idea, even for you, Ryder! (Gets out a pup treat for Marshall)
(As for Putt Putt, he gets out a pup treat for Pep and Pep sniffs it and wakes up)
Frankie: Come and get it, silly goose!
Marshall: (Sniffs it and wakes up) What? Is it breakfast already? (Eats it)
(Putt Putt tries to lure Pep into his backseat and Pep grabs it, jumps in and barks)
Me: I can’t believe that worked!
Grumpy: Uh, Putt Putt, aren’t you forgetting something?
Putt Putt: Oh uh, right! Here’s my coin! I better not leave home without it! (Grabs his coin)
(Later)
Mr. Firebird: Holy gas can! This shouldn’t be happening!
(Time portal opens and a time tube comes out)
Martain Kratt: That’s not what I meant!
(The time portal then sucks up Putt Putt’s stuff in it, including Pep, Marshall and Oopsy Bear)
Putt Putt: Pep, nooooooo!
Ryder: Marshall, noooooo!
Funshine: OOPSY BEAR!!!
Marshall: Ryder! Help!
Oopsy: Funshine! Help me!
