so this is a video I edited as part of the multifandom week I was going to make (that I couldn't complete when my laptop was stolen), and seeing as season 9's just come out, I thought I'd post it now.
:)
Song is a mashup between the original by Halsey and a remix, info at the end ;)

Never seen the show, but I just love your editing skills, I'd watch any of your edits, no matter the show. Honestly, you could make an edit about some random turds and I would still enjoy the heck out of it, because your editing skills are just too damn awesome!

It shows abuse, grooming, sa, rpe, mental illneses, drugs, sui attempts, sh, death. It shows so much once the “funny” parts are put aside. And its scary that some people do live like this.

it’s literally the reason why i stopped watching years ago when i was in a really bad place, and i finished it just recently - now instead of damaging my mental health it just helps me cope with reality

This is one of the greatest video I've seen in this fandom. I love Ian slightly more than others, but in this one I just want to hug all family. This is a really beautiful work & shows once again how this show is about drama & life than a crack humour. It has its cons, but video like this one makes me think that I genuinely love the whole show, even when I hate it. Thank you.

That look in Carl's eyes when Lip left was heartbreaking. I felt his pain on such a personal level. I think it could connect to anyone with abandonment trauma. I think that moment was a turning point for Carl.

This show took me by surprise I went into it to see a comedy but what I got was a deep character study and possibly the most thought prevoking show I've ever seen tackling subjects like addiction self hate abuse and the effects of poverty this show is a masterpiece

This show is harsh on reality and it does what other shows don't do... It shows the world for what it's like. It shows how hard life is and the hard decisions we have to make. What it's like to be poor, to live in poverty and the absolute worst struggle and this show sums it's all up perfectly.
If your just realizing how dark this show is you obviously have yet to see it for what it is.😟
To see how little they were at the start like Debbie she was innocent then when she grew up she learnt that being a gallagher was actually like and turned on alot of people and got pregnant very young and ian is bipolar lip has a drinking addiction fiona got accused of nearly killing her brother carl was in a gang and liam almost died from coke if you put the humor aside it is a very depressing show and your editing made us relize that your editing is 100000000000000/10

The song "Gasoline" has a vibe that's both aloof and genuine, Halsey sings about genuine suffering in a distant, tired voice. It really fits the tone of the show

When you put all humor and love aside.You see how show is dark and Sad.Story speaking about alcoholic father and sick mother also addict.Six kids raised by oldest sibling who gives them everything has no time for herself if she had last crumb of bread for herself she would spread it to them.They survive the way they can.In bad part of neighborhood where cops don't ducking care if you killed someone or if someone killed you.Beacuse that is how world works.Somewhere in real world there is This alcoholic father and sick mother six children raised by oldest sibling.Foos job for editing your really talented.Best edit on shameless I ever seen.👍❤️

Damn I'm gonna have to rewatch this at least a few times. Your skill at editing fanvideos is SO impressive, I have been editing fanvideos for 16 years but I have things to learn from you for sure. I just started rewatching the show about a week ago with the start ish of s4 because i just wanted to rewatch Ian's bipolar arc and mania now that someone in my life appears to be going through mania at the moment, except the Lip/Fiona stuff in s4 is some of my favorite stuff that I've always rewatched and vidded the most anyway, and i got so deeply sucked back into how much i loved so much about this show. I'm already back to mid-s5 and i really deeply appreciate how you captured SO much of what these siblings went through and basically skipped any of the characters but the siblings because those videos are my favorites. You did so brilliantly with each lyric match and each special effect and every other kind of creative choice like at the end all the joy and family scenes, the placement of voiceovers, everything was so carefully and brilliantly done. Just. Wow. Thank you for this amazing tribute.
I only ever saw through the end of Fiona's arc but i always meant to finish the entire series btw. I kinda love that this video was only about some of the seasons I have seen though.
