Would be good to have some more impartial experts ans some from other geographies. For example the middle East, India and Asia have all produced great arm wrestlers that might make it onto a top 20 list just by stats.
It makes the list laughable. Lupkes has a winning record on Brzenk but you know who else does? 150 lb Dave Patton. Asks John next time you see him Ray.
All the guys who voted are extremely educated (at least armwrestling wise). This list is definitely a well thought list with great armwrestlers. Could use some updates IMO tho .. All Rankings and lists should be updated from time to time - not only this one .. Thank you for educating ppl about p4p meaning. Although it usually means dominance at your class and after gaining weight dominance at above classes..(since boxers etc never officially face heavier boxers) So winning titles at many different weight classes is the p4p meaning. But regarding armwrestling p4p is widely considered winning much heavier opponents =)

I humbly dissagree with Pushkar, he was very heavy when he was winning a lot, i would move Devon to 9 and give Dave Patton #10. Patton was 160 pounds dressed and would enter all classes and win them all. But the experts have spoken and i respect them both very much.
Devon hasn’t achieved anything compared to Pushkar who has won countless world titles at multiple weight classes.. Patton instead of Larratt yes , easily

Janis is great, no doubt, but even pound for pound he's nowhere near as accomplished as Pushkar. Pushkar won pretty much everything there was to win at some point, WAF Worlds, Zloty, A1 Russian Open, Lotoshino, European Championships, Moldova, everything. Janis doesn't compare.
Is John Brzenk a arm wrestling expert? In his 3rd interview with Neil Pickup he said Dave Patton was the best ever. Neil asks who is the best guy you pulled ever John says Johnny Walker but Dave Patton was better. 1979 to 1996 he dominated. Don't argue with me argue with Brzenk.

Im 100% sure ur American. And you just have seen dominant European lightweight. To my knowledge Vrezh has 1 world title. He is many many behind everyone on the list. Google Vrezh and his results on Europeans and World. There is huge difference with lighteights and middleweights in USA and Europe/Asia.

Nowadays he seems a less explosive and he struggles with guys that he would normally flash pin if it were back in those days. I understand the concept of the video even before it was posted I've been following the sport for 3 years now and have been pulling for 6 years. I'm just saying rustam use to look explosive and unstoppable back in the day even against superheavies compared to now.

Well that's the same thing as 105 pounder Armwrestling 175 pounder if you're talkin pound-for-pound. The best arm wrestlers pound-for-pound are in the lower weight classes light heavyweight at best. You can't even look at the heavyweight division those guys Varian wait so much. And yes weight matters. That's why they have weight classes. Even going from 190 lb to 230 lb lean is a huge difference. Going from 155 to 170 lbs is a huge difference. But if I was to guess I would say John brzenk because of his wherewithal, longevity and how naturally small he is for the heavyweight division

How does weight class matter? If the super heavyweights have no where to go but down and would toy with everyone in those classes it’s really not fair to judge that way. That shouldn’t matter.
It matters because this's pound for pound (p4p) list. So if you want to consider top 10 most-powerful/strongest armwrestlers, then it'd be different than best p4p, because it'd be different story. P4P is what this video about. If the superheavy guys couldn't go up, then people wouldn't consider they're in p4p list, as simple as that.

@@papabilby8855 Yes, it doesn't, because it's *pound for pound*. If a guy is twice as heavy as another one, he should be twice as strong and successful in order to compete pound for pound. It's not clear that it's the case for the heavyweights. This becomes quickly obvious when we note that the strongest heavyweights don't move twice as much weight in the gym. They just don't. Levan recently had a 100kg lift shared on Facebook, but many top armwrestlers could do the same in the 70-80kg range, and he's twice as heavy as them :P
