    Thank you for educating ppl about p4p meaning.
    Although it usually means dominance at your class and after gaining weight dominance at above classes..(since boxers etc never officially face heavier boxers)

    It's more than that though it's not even fair at heavyweight. What's heavyweight start at 210 lb? And then you got to go up against 350-pound guys? Well that's the same thing as 105 pounder Armwrestling 175 pounder if you're talkin pound-for-pound. The best arm wrestlers pound-for-pound are in the lower weight classes light heavyweight at best. You can't even look at the heavyweight division those guys Varian wait so much. And yes weight matters. That's why they have weight classes. Even going from 190 lb to 230 lb lean is a huge difference. Going from 155 to 170 lbs is a huge difference. But if I was to guess I would say John brzenk because of his wherewithal, longevity and how naturally small he is for the heavyweight division

    Ray you're great but Oleg doesn't belong here and makes the list stupid as fuck. He's a left hand only puller. He lost to Devon who is at #10? Bagent, Lupkes, Bath and Denis are all light-years ahead of him. Absolutely stupid putting a left-only guy on this list.

    How does weight class matter? If the super heavyweights have no where to go but down and would toy with everyone in those classes it’s really not fair to judge that way. That shouldn’t matter.

    • @3enjamin
      @3enjamin 3 года назад +2

      It matters because this's pound for pound (p4p) list. So if you want to consider top 10 most-powerful/strongest armwrestlers, then it'd be different than best p4p, because it'd be different story. P4P is what this video about. If the superheavy guys couldn't go up, then people wouldn't consider they're in p4p list, as simple as that.

      @@3enjamin And you are considering most powerful, he stated that at the beginning of the video. All I’m saying is we should keep out winning in multiple weight classes. Doesn’t make sense when ranking.

    • @MrRunescapy
      @MrRunescapy 3 года назад

      @@papabilby8855 Yes, it doesn't, because it's *pound for pound*. If a guy is twice as heavy as another one, he should be twice as strong and successful in order to compete pound for pound. It's not clear that it's the case for the heavyweights. This becomes quickly obvious when we note that the strongest heavyweights don't move twice as much weight in the gym. They just don't. Levan recently had a 100kg lift shared on Facebook, but many top armwrestlers could do the same in the 70-80kg range, and he's twice as heavy as them :P

      @@MrRunescapy Lifting a lot of weight does not translate well to armwrestling. Which is why you see these tiny guys moving up in weight class.
