I've been playing Hearthstone for 3 years now and it's really disappointing to see that druid can gain so much armor so quickly and even the mage 1-drop that gives armor seems a little off, since they already have ice barrier and ice block. Warriors strength was surviving, but now more classes can do so. Even fiery war axe nerf. Vanilla 3 mana 3/2 weapon is now the worst. Why not: gain armor equal to this weapons attack. Seems legit and not broken.
So true. I only play him for the weapon or spell quest (Explore Un'Goro).

Maly is such a simple card/legendary in terms of text and design but it's one of my favorites and can change the game so much just from spell damage

No mention of Malygos Shaman with Ancesterals Call to get it out for 4 or less Mana. Cmon Kripp.

Sounds garbage. The point of this deck is stalling, drawing, correct use of spells to a big win combo, not high roll yay I drew ancestors call and malagos by turn four let’s yolo and hope it doesn’t get hard removed so I can highroll win next turn.
you wait until turn 8 or so and double lightning bolt, shaman worked because it could abuse overload as you didn't care about the next turn, might no be good anymore, but it was one of the og malygos decks
you don't play it by turn 4... malygos shaman is exactly like you described malygos druid; you stall, clear the board, heal up, draw a lot of cards, and then slam malygos down with ancestral call and use loads of spells to kill your opponent. both decks are very similar and really fun.
Yeah, Malygos shaman was even a pretty popular combo deck in the meta a few years ago (TGT maybe?). The spellstone just gives it even more ridiculous burst potential.

Malyshaman has the most damage output out of all the classes given a fully upgraded spellstone. Can easily destroy 60-80 health control warriors and druids who stack armor. I wish i have the dust to play it in wild though :(
only a bit less than druid and can't have more than 30 health. And even besides the armor, way weaker stalling cards.

I used to play Malygos Warlock. Good times, the only competitive deck thats any fun to me right now is Spell Hunter.
Try a Spellstone Shaman Maly deck. Thaurisan -> AC -> Spellstone-> 4 Maly -> Profit.

Malygos is my favourite card, especially in a combo deck. I wish there was atleast a decent standard deck that runs him.
Malygos Shaman is still very much a thing in wild and has the same 4 Malygos plus cheap spells idea.

Is there a reason that there's no Emperor in this deck? It feels like it really should be, not just for malt combo, it's also just a really good card.
What card would you replace for Emperor?
As most cards in the deck are either ramp, removal/defensive tools, card draw or combo pieces
So I don't really see any obvious cards that could be replaced with Emperor
I think dropping 1x Greedy Sprite, Spreading Plague, Oaken Summons, or Ironwood Golem for a Emperor would be fine. Greedy Sprite is too unreliable to be set-in-stone like the other ramp, Plague because it's situational and only really good vs aggro, Oaken because it's pretty meh, and unreliable for defense because of sprite, Golem because it's just a crappy card in my mind. LIke yeah it's a taunt, but it's 4 mana for a tar creeper with 1 more health and unreliable (albeit better) offensive power. But if you cut an Ironwood, you probably have to cut the Oaken Summons, because they're just garbage without it. Honestly, I think the whole package is shit.

I am pretty baffled at how broken druid cards are. 4 mana gain 12 armor, spreading cancer and UI still not nerfed, 4 mana recruit a 4 or lower cost minion AND gain 6 armor ( ??????!!!! ), i mean let's be realistic, current druid standart cards are as or even more broken than cards like dr.boom. And why does druid have better armor cards than warrior to begin with, isn't that enough that they have the best draws in the game ? (except 10 card draw divine favor )
oh yeah sorry, spreading plague from 5 to 6 mana wo0o0o0o000oo0w what a nerf, fantastic, marvelous and totally addressed everything that is wrong with that card.
The only thing you see in Wild mode is Priest and Druid. Tell me more about how it was already nerfed. A card that needs no other requirement can potentially put 7/35 worth of stats on the board for 6 mana. Job well done. or and for an extra card and some more mana you can buff the ever living fuck out of them so even priests can't destroy the fucking things.
The other requirement that the card needs is that your opponent has 7 minions on the board. It doesn't pump out 6 mana 7/35s most games. 6 Mana 3/15 is still pretty decent, but not game destroying.
haha that's funny , i dont know watch this game too much but that druid card ( 10 mana ) seems prettyyy crazy i mean : draw 5 cards (8-9 mana worth) deal 5 damage ( 4-5 mana) gain 5 armor ( 3 mana ) summon 5/5 ( 5 mana )
all of this 18-20 mana worth in just ONE card ?
ElderGod4 gain 5 armor is 1 mana worth but yeah that card is insane

I'd rather play against pirate warrior then this shit. At least warrior games only last a few minutes. This shit takes forever and right when you start pulling back an it seems like you have a chance of winning you insta lose with no chance to stop it. I've killed pirate warrior with classic cards before. This new shit, oh, I jsut can't wait for the next expansion. 6 mana summon 6 8/8's and a 5/5. You think i'm kidding. I am, because that's already a thing in wild.
