Diets don't work, PD님...you should know that... It's good that After School is eating. Unlike the other K-Pop entertainment industries that require dieting...we all need to eat to live! But as long as we eat healthy, it's all good. ;) AFTER SCHOOL, FIGHTING~!!
I think it's because American entertainers can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars for just selling one album. Korean entertainers can also get that much, or even more, by doing albums, CFs, performances, etc. However, a certain percent of the revenue goes to the company (backup dancers, staff, etc), a certain percent go to the production costs (lights, stage reservation, fireworks, costumes, etc). That's not to say they're poor or anything, it's just that they aren't millionaires.
@AhLiYza well... SM Entertainment has a very strict diet on their entertainers.. and they are only allowed to eat whatever when camera's are rolling... I think After School would be on the strict diet too... if they wanted to keep their figures, but yeah... SM only lets SNSD eat whatever on camera.. so thats why they go crazy for meat.
From what I've seen, Asian entertainers are alot more modest and humble compared to American entertainers. . . .you dont see Asian music artists showing off their cars, homes, valuables, etc. They seem to be more down to earth and more easy going/laid back, ya know? Compared to American artists of many whom DEMAND respect and attention and whatnot. . .
