its a trap. why trying to achieve something in your life if you're happy regardless? its like heroin (without side effects) or other hard drug. with that power I'd be 100% homeless but hey, I would be happy.
Creative and I think also unique. I have never heared someone say that. Some people meant it, but projected it onto specific things that they thought would bring them happiness. But none ever just said "be happy all the time, without the reprecussions"
As a long time follower of all your channels, I'm really glad you keep moving on despite all the negativity you attract from the snarkiest people online. It's also crazy why some people just despise you... because you enjoy the stuff you do? Color me surprised for internet being full of them... Anyhow, I think I can finally say this from the deepest place in my heart that I-- *CABOOSING*
Why wouldn't someone wish for such an existence? Just for a fun rebuttal. To be always happy is to never be mad, sad, or content. A lot of these don't matter on a personal level, but are very useful for making changes and taking more informed decisions. What they matter for is for those around you. You need to have a variety of emotions to allow you to, as best you can, comfort, enjoy, or just be there for those in your life. Personally I'd choose the power to not need sleep, sure I'd miss out on some cool dreams, but I'd be far more effective at binging House (would recommend)
I agree with you on both of those takes. I would love to not have to sleep and maybe be able to set an exact time when I can wake up to dream/skip time. It would be so much more lifetime you could get. One third of your life
9:10 You could always be a bus driver! Seriously, it's a job that doesn't sap your mental energy but also pays well and is fun if you like driving. You also have more autonomy than a fast food employee and, especially if there's a shortage of drivers, are viewed as a lot less "replaceable"
Love the perspective, its important to balance "living in the moment" with making plans for the future. So many people make plans of what "they should do" or what theyre expected to do and they end up unhappy and at dead ends, and on the other hand a lot of people act with reckless abandon and build debt or live harmful lifestyles until life catches up on them and theyre left feeling like they blew everything. The ""correct"" answer (as if theres a correct answer in life) is to find whats sustainable, find to place where you can be happy where you are, and use that as a platform to build for the future. Instead of looking for some jump into a future person you may never be, looking for the attainable future that makes you happy. Personally Im graduating college this year, switched majors several times and completely changed my life direction from where I "thought" i should be going, instead of relying on somehow gaining motivation or being a different person down the line, I embraced what I love and what Im good at. Now im working in a field Im passionate about and will continue this line of work after graduation.
Even though I'm not aspiring to be an influencer, your segment on advice to aspiring influencers was really touching. I watched you tons throughout my teen years, and I still watch you, just less as my life has become more busy with starting a career and an engagement. Your advice to focus on chasing your own dreams, and create things you'll love, and make memories from, sounded like something I needed to hear. Thank you Phillip, for all the years of wonderful content you've made. I hope you realize the impact you've made on some of your viewers.
I have been watching you for more than 10 years now and I feel like your channels are like an old friend you always want to talk with. To see what projects you are doing. What random comments/inputs you have on thing. Even inspired me to try and learn similar things and skills. Thank you.
8:36 WOO! LAZERPIG IS AWESOME! YOU'RE AWESOME ASWELL! TWO AWESOME CREATORS SEE AWESOMENESS IN EACH OTHER! AMAZING! Ok to be fair, I'm not sure if Lazerpig sees your videos, but I hope he does and sees how AWESOME you are
I rarely comment but just thought I'd say how much I enjoy your videos across all your channels. You're incredibly entering and so willing to embrace your weirdness in a way tragically few people do. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who enjoy your videos but never leave a comment, only to leave the sad people who have nothing better to do but to be mean on the internet (or recently, in your DM's). You are a very interesting and uniquely creative person and that is why I will always come back to your videos. Some of my favourites of yours have been when you talk about your own creative journeys, be it music, games, or videos. I thought your perspective on life that you described in your recent klik empire anal-ysis was beautiful and mature and I genuinely wish you the best.
Nigh-daily uploads is not what I expected from the klik empire at the start of 2025. I enjoy these simple talking videos you've been making recently quite abit. Cant wait for more!
This is the only Chanel of yours I've watched for many years now. I can't think of any other creator who documents their journey like you do, it really is fascinating to watch. Wishing you all the best!
I also LOVE the whole Odgrub series but another work of yours I LOVE is the going low series. In todays gaming atmosphere that series may be somewhat impossible but the stories of the past from your source days combined with your music has always been such a treat. Your storytelling in those videos have inspired me quite a lot. Also the sleep and dreams trilogy are still in my rotation when I feel like falling asleep is a chore. Thanks Philip!
My dad digitized and categorized VHS tapes from 1998 to early 2008 and then continued by adding his digital camera footage. All accessible with just a few Klicks. Your video really made me appreciate that he did that, and also way before AI or any "apps" it was all through blank CD's and making them accessible through VLC. Thanks a lot Philip, gonna give him a call
Just finished your video and while it wasn't intended to be an advice video, I took away some really meaningful things that I'll be thinking about over the next while. I have felt things you've talked about but you put words to those feelings in a way I hadn't been able to myself. Thank you!
I've been following you since your hammer editor tutorials. Those helped me a lot on my journey to become a game developer, a childhood dream of mine which I recently achieved. So fuck the haters! Keep up the great work!
Hi Philip, I just wanted to say that I think I've been watching your content for roughly 10 years now. I feel like I've been watching a close friend go about their life, I've been there when you shared all of your successes and have been there for when you shared the problems and adversity you had to face. Out of all your content, I have especially enjoyed the kliksphilip channel the most, and the 2kliksphilip channel second. In my opinion I find your best content to be anything to do with problem solving and making creative solutions in game and music creation, I wish to see you return to that in the future! I feel like there is so much I want to say to you, but I wouldn't want to bother you in any other space, so I will write it here. I think you are an amazing person, you are kind and light hearted, you are friendly and I feel you have a deep compassion for your family and friends. I am so so sorry that you've been through all of the hate, scrutiny and criticism. I myself am struggling with being true to who I am, and I am very much alike to you, a comment you made in one of your recent videos about being a genuinely friendly peron and people being suspect of friendly people having something to hide, rung so true to the scrutiny i face day by day. I struggle to find work with my skill set, I am forced to work with thick skinned chefs, who love nothing more than to bully and talk about the most depressing and hateful things. I strongly believe you need to do what makes you happy and excited! I will love nothing more than to fund you for you to be comfortable enough financially to continue working on things that matter to you!!! I think you will be surprised if you were to open a patreon there will be plenty of people like me that are willing to fund you. Please give it a serious thought, you will be more financially comfortable, no stress for deadlines, and overtime there will be less and less haters, the fans of your content will stay to watch because you are making what you want to make and it will be so exciting! I know you don't know who I am, but I want you to know that I love you. Thank you so much for being you, thank you so much for making the choice to do youtube all those years ago, I can't imagine a world without all of this fun and creativity, God bless you Philip, if we can't find light in other people then we must be the light for them to see! - Charles
2:55 Do it Just do it Don't let your dreams be dreams Yesterday you said tomorrow So just do it Make your dreams come true Just do it Some people dream of success While you're gonna wake up and work hard at it Nothing is impossible You should get to the point Where anyone else would quit And you're not going to stop there No, what are you waiting for? Do it Just do it Yes you can Just do it If you're tired of starting over Stop giving up
Hi mr. kliks, I remember when you made videos on digitizing your family's tapes and pictures a few years back and I've found my family's tapes recently and have begun doing the same. I don't think that I would have had the thought to digitize them had I not seen your video however many years ago. It's been a great opportunity for me to relive lost moments and to remember deceased loved ones with more clarity. I plan to make some sort of documentary for my parents' anniversary in the coming years and I owe you the spark that has led me to this moment. Thanks big man.
love that you consider your elder scrolls video so highly, your walking acrost elder scrolls games maps is how i found your channel a long ass time ago
This was really nice to watch! The take on work an things you like to accomplish after work made me question, if I am happy where I currently am. Working in a big company but going there with a smile, 80% of the time, but afterwards I just fall on the couch and watch RUclips or some shows. I do like it at the moment but imagining me doing this in 5-10 years makes me kind of sad. But in ordner to not do so, I think I have to do something about it now, like getting a better routine, or different hobbies, or other friendgroups. Not sure, if I have the energy to do so right now.
Your ideas on happiness are interesting, happiness cannot exists without sadness. Being happy isnt really a good pursuit because, like motivation, it is always fleeting.
This feels like much better inspirational video than most out there. I struggle with doing stuff, even tho i have tried A LOT. and its not even the fun part, i love a lot of it. its just that i do all of those negative things you mentioned aren't good for it lol. learning out of many, but still long way to get comfortable. and ofc ADHD makes it harder, but not impossible, like i sometimes tend to overthink. Thank you!
Some useful words of wisdom there. FWIW I have yet to see your masterpiece and not everybody has so I don't yet compare your other work to it even if you do.
Seems like you really had a meaningful journy in your life, considering your idea of it's meaning. Not a lot of people get to say that, and that's something to be proud of. I wish you the best for the coming years :) thanks for for being you
I was just thinking about you the other day! The Game Making Journey series, Destruction Darius, and Vexxsie. I'm the one who asked you on Reddit how she's doing. You responded to me. This was in the summer of 2018, which was already years after I started watching your vids. I'm now a proper game developer and you helped bring that along.
Thank you for the insightful interview. The career topic certainly struck a chord with me. I think I'd ultimately be happier with less skilled work, less money, but more time and energy to do the things I truly want to do.
it is sad that social media (the internet in general) is such a hostile place. time to tell you i enjoy the content after all these years. thanks phillip!
It's nice at least that you clearly still read your comments section, despite there being so many hateful people in it! A lot of other creators give up reading them when that stuff starts... Good to know you still pop in to take a look though :)
Phillip being a Lazerpig enjoyer has been the highlight of my life. Absolutely not the RUclipsr I expected him to mention in the slightest. It would be an excellent collaboration if there was even anything that they could do for one. Although Phillip riding a tank would be a sight to behold.
McDonald's can be tiring if you're have to deal with karens all the time, but otherwise it's good work that operates with a set boundary you very rarely need to step outside of. I write fanfiction as a hobby and I know that if I worked a very complicated engineering job or something along those lines, my ability to create what I love would be hindered because all my problem solving energy would be put into my day job. And oh boy, does creating anything ever require problem-solving energy. Everything I write needs to be fixed two times over before I'm comfortable publishing fanfic on the internet 😂 Great video Philip!
Thanks philip, thanks to these kinds of videos i can reflect about things in my life other than what i NEED to do but more what i would like to do. Like going somewhere in the middle on nowhere on a crappy scooter bike and just recording the journey for example! Guess Ill do that while im still in my 20s, before i become all boring and sensible like you ;)) Edit> Another thing: I'd love to see something like Ebony Warrior done again, with your current skills and experience, doesn't have to be about Skyrim but just the clear time and effor that went into every shot and camera pan really shows in the video, i mustv-e binge watched the whole series like 10 times by now.
Hello Philip, i am a long time viewer of this channel, if I'm not mistaken its almost 10 years (2015 feels like it was yesterday...) Anyways i wanted to thank you for all your videos trough the years, they were really a big inspiration and have been a great compass trough life (mostly this channel). In sleugh of these bad comments i wanted to write a positive one. I have not been aware that this had been the case at all and am greatly saddened that you have to go trough this by the day. So once again thank you! I cannot express my gratitude enough trough the screen but i hope that it will be atleast enough to brighten your day a bit. Please never stop making videos I will miss you very much, but if you do I will forever cherish these memories made with your channel. Farewell, until the next video!
0:23 Interesting. For me it's basically the opposite, where HOW I do it is more important than the end result. Although it's sometimes a bit paralyzing since it leads me to abandon projects when I find out that the way I initially wanted to achieve something is not a feasible way of achieving it.
You have the same opinion on Christopher Nolan as I do! I love his movies, especially the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, and even some of his more niche movies such as Memento and tenet... they age like fine wine for me, I am usually a bit confused at first, and then I watch the movie again, and I pick up on things and appreciate scenes that I hadn't noticed or understood the first time, you have good taste 👌 and about the negativity you recieve online, pay no attention to them, they don't care if whether you're actually doing something "bad" or not, they're just critiquing and criticizing you to feel better about themselves, and the more you respond and make them feel like you care, the more they'll do it... you make great videos and I wish you all the best ❤
I feel like I never compare your videos to Odgrub. Sure, it might be one of my favourite videos you ever made, but I like your content because it's varied. How could I compare something like Odgrub with something like your Visual assault on Basalt for example. Both are amazing videos for different reasons :D. Anyway great interview, the moderator was really nice
Memories are just thoughts. They can be pleasant. But I think the here and now can be more meaningful. If you just pay attention to what's happening, in your mind and around you.
Love Nolan, most his movies are great. Nothing wrong with not being intellectual if you are correct. My brother's favourite movie is The Prestige and I too can watch it endlessly...in fact, might rewatch it today or tomorrow now.
This video reminds me a bit of the older videos on this channel. It's almost got that feel of making a video without putting much thought into it, but that's part of what makes it interesting and more personal. You mentioning nasty comments from time to time makes me wonder how I would have fared. How much would it bring me down, would I respond, and how if so. Just to note, I thought your physique was fine in that VR video and I also appreciated the ghetto mattress setup.
When you started mentioning places as an answer to "What is your favorite holiday?", I was confused at first, but remembered that holiday means something different between the British and Americans.
I saw kliksphilip (or one of his brothers) on holiday in St Ives a couple years back in summer, I was both starstruck and worried about ambushing him while he was on holiday himself - I think about this shockingly often but his most embarrassing moment reminds me of it
Question about your digital collection: do you have it organized, labeled, and distributed in any particular way? The fact that your mom can find a video that fast is impressive. I typically only have dates and durations to filter and scrub for, which are automatic file metadata, although I've researched having automated transcripts (aTrain) and text recognition (my own program) for looking up things in my ever growing folders of "stuff"
Really enjoying this new comfy format. I love how much more personal this channel is too compared to your other ones.
I came for Hammer editor videos
Well it's not even him. It's his brother. Do people not realize that the Phillip's are three separate people???
Me too. Love all kliks videos. Would watch a million of these sit-down talks on any subject. Especially if they're easier for him to make.
Besides him reading from a screen. It's too obvious if you focus on his eyes like I do.
@@doku367 yes yes very interesting
DESTRUCTION DARIUS 2 mentioned, my lease on life has been extended 6 months.
Think you might need more than that hahahah
no lens flare... hello fake kliksphilip
damnit!. i subscribed to fake philip!

you're one of my favorite youtubers thank you for being so genuine
"superpower - be happy all the time, without the reprecussions" - daaaamn, most creative answer I've heard in a while
its a trap. why trying to achieve something in your life if you're happy regardless? its like heroin (without side effects) or other hard drug. with that power I'd be 100% homeless but hey, I would be happy.
Creative and I think also unique. I have never heared someone say that.

@Content_Deleted I love that track so much Steventhedreamer is a musical genius
Why wouldn't someone wish for such an existence?
Just for a fun rebuttal. To be always happy is to never be mad, sad, or content. I love how this year has been filled with so many kliksphilip’s videos already. All these videos where he just seem to begin filming is my favourite
I like how the website has already just linked to the video instead of transcribing out the info
Do it
Just do it
Don't let your dreams be dreams
Yesterday you said tomorrow
So just do it
Make your dreams come true
Just do it
Some people dream of success
While you're gonna wake up and work hard at it
Nothing is impossible
You should get to the point
Where anyone else would quit
And you're not going to stop there
No, what are you waiting for?
Do it
Just do it
Yes you can
Just do it
If you're tired of starting over
Stop giving up
Of your three channels, this one is the warmest. Take care
Your are one of the Real Ones, Philip! :)
Have a nice day!

Why would he say that? It asked for his favourite holiday?
Yeah he basically told his favorite vacation which i guess holiday means that to British people
Phillip being a Lazerpig enjoyer has been the highlight of my life. Absolutely not the RUclipsr I expected him to mention in the slightest.
It would be an excellent collaboration if there was even anything that they could do for one. Although Phillip riding a tank would be a sight to behold.
stay genuine, lets hope the algorithm will pick up on it but your fans appreciate you for it either way!
Everything I write needs to be fixed two times over before I'm comfortable publishing fanfic on the internet 😂
Great video Philip!
Tom Baker, brilliant choice :)
Great video mate
Happy birthday 🎈
Hello Philip, i am a long time viewer of this channel, if I'm not mistaken its almost 10 years (2015 feels like it was yesterday...)
Anyways i wanted to thank you for all your videos trough the years, they were really a big inspiration and have been a great compass trough life (mostly this channel).
Thanks! Sounded like you were going to stop watching my stuff at a few points there :P I've got lots of great content coming soon :)
banger video philip
haven't checked 2kliks for a while but I loved the s h i t advice and going low series.
praying for more
This was a very nice and cozy video :)
Thank you Phillip, It was nice to see Phillip talking to Phillip again.
Can't believe that all this time I've been watching a Battlefield 2042 channel without realising it.
0:23 Interesting. For me it's basically the opposite, where HOW I do it is more important than the end result. Although it's sometimes a bit paralyzing since it leads me to abandon projects when I find out that the way I initially wanted to achieve something is not a feasible way of achieving it.
I am completely the same way, I usually drop projects once I've become satisfied with the specific way I've worked on it
You have the same opinion on Christopher Nolan as I do!

This is why ive felt so deppressed after my stroke, my ability to create and access memories is so limited It feels worthless
Be proud, you've remained human throughout all these years.
I love Philip
Keep on keeping on
good vid i like your personality
Noo, I didn’t know Flambards had closed. I had so much fun there as a kid.
I remember watching the fireworks :D
Love Nolan, most his movies are great. Nothing wrong with not being intellectual if you are correct. My brother's favourite movie is The Prestige and I too can watch it endlessly...in fact, might rewatch it today or tomorrow now.
This video reminds me a bit of the older videos on this channel. It's almost got that feel of making a video without putting much thought into it, but that's part of what makes it interesting and more personal.
You mentioning nasty comments from time to time makes me wonder how I would have fared. How much would it bring me down, would I respond, and how if so. Just to note, I thought your physique was fine in that VR video and I also appreciated the ghetto mattress setup.
love to have a beer someday with u mate, been watching u since 2014 easily
im just commenting to boost the interactions on this in hopes u make more stuff like it :0
Somewhere a drunk Scottish man just spat his wine out and screamed "ME?"
He’s not the most reliable or accurate sort of person for history, technology, or military events but rather the most dramatic.
the favourite video thing was wholesome
When you started mentioning places as an answer to "What is your favorite holiday?", I was confused at first, but remembered that holiday means something different between the British and Americans.
2:25 undoubtedly. If you look a what a serious life looks like from a jesters perspective peering inwards, its clear who really is having fun.
I saw kliksphilip (or one of his brothers) on holiday in St Ives a couple years back in summer, I was both starstruck and worried about ambushing him while he was on holiday himself - I think about this shockingly often but his most embarrassing moment reminds me of it
great video
also tenet is top tier
6:41 most adult and correct answer i have ever heard. also that shit makes you live longer
Time to lock in.
Thank you
chatgpt said my bmi is 21.30 cause im 144 pounds and 5'9 i think im really just the definition of normal average build and so are you, phillip.
7:09 love this
"What's your favorite game ever?"
Philip: SWAT4
Great interview mr kliks
In some ways we should all aspire to be like Tom Baker
Hahaha, why are people trash-talking juggling? This is the first time I saw you do that and I was flabbergasted enough that I did an instant replay.
Question about your digital collection: do you have it organized, labeled, and distributed in any particular way? The fact that your mom can find a video that fast is impressive. I typically only have dates and durations to filter and scrub for, which are automatic file metadata, although I've researched having automated transcripts (aTrain) and text recognition (my own program) for looking up things in my ever growing folders of "stuff"
farting on command is a good hidden talent
It's so fascinating to see AI interview itself.
