' Imagine if you will , crossing over into a portal that keeps you safe from freakers and allows you to kill them safely , yes , you have entered the Twilight Zone '. As you can tell , easy kill location 4 is my favorite , although 5 , is a close second. All of your methods are great however some don't allow for a margin of error , you know , attract the horde and climb the rock . Miss the climb and you're freaker stew lol. @Borislav 247 One of my favorite hordes! Just FYI for anyone interested: It is possible to spawn this horde early (before the Chemult Community College story mission). Just ride to the fence at the back of the college (by the semi trailer freaker nest), not sure if it has to be daytime. If you use the drifter crossbow with incendiary bolts to burn that nest, this will often trigger the horde. Curiously, when I shoot the nearby car to trigger the car alarm, this only seems to spawn freakers from the other nearby nest in the building by the fence. This might be a good method for anyone wanting easy access to the Nero checkpoint later, which can be tricky if the horde is still around. Also, somewhere on RUclips, I have seen someone (B-Lion Network) use the bike to climb one of the rocks on that side to enter, but I have never been able to pull this off.
I like to take this horde with the drifter crossbow and explosive bolts from the lookout point above the field. Takes around 6 shots if its day and they're all in their shelter areas.

Amazing as always, I did the drive up the rock method, easy except not all the horde arrived. I foolishly jumped down without the bike and had to do it the old fashioned way running and shooting around the tents. I followed your previous skills, used the terrain and explosive items, narrow points, etc and job done. Thank you, I'm gaining in confidence.

Hey mate. I took out this Horde the other day before gaining access to the College. During the day you want to go to the eastern gate, close to the south-eastern corner of the campus, and it will be locked up tight. You can use the crossbow and an incendiary bolt shooting through a gap in the gate to take out the nest in the truck, and the freaks that come out will aggro the horde. And if they don't, you can always toss a flash bang over the fence. The freaks will congregate around the gate, and you can either shoot them through the gate, or you can place mines or proximity bombs on the gate itself. Been really appreciating these videos of yours. I'm doing a "completionist" playthrough at the moment where I've been doing all side quests before Story missions, including clearing every horde as soon as it become available, such as immediately after getting to the Crater Lake area, or at least after Deacon has been recruited into the militia.

I used easy kill location number one, only had one napalm bomb though, did have enough grenades and pipe bombs and attractors to take them out, oh and I had about 8 zombie wolves to contend with. Worked great. Thanks.
Just dropped by the college to retrieve mp3 player right as the horde showed up. Saw them from a distance. Snuck up stealth style to the bushes as you suggested, got down to 15 or so remaining in nearby enclosures. Took them out, powered up nero checkpoint and didnt bother disabling speakers; screamer brought another 20 or so all over the field. Took them out easily enough with gunplay. Moved on to next mission down the road, road blocked by nest and i hadnt gathered materials for moltoves since the forced horde mission with kouri. I didnt bother to reload ammo with saddlebag, just threw my only moltove to clear the giant nest, and didnt think much of the 10 or so freakers that jumped on me, until all of a sudden road horde up my ass out of nowhere. High tailed on foot back up to college, jumped through the window you pointed out and took out the 20 that followed me all the way. Walked back to camp without bike, took out another 20+ on the way. Had like 30 bullets between all my guns by time i finally arrived. Gonna call it a night and get back into the shit tmr 😅
Lol, quite an encounter, and a chance meet up with the Groose Garden Horde for good measure. That's what makes this game so good mate, the unpredictability of the open world of Days Gone.
I just did this horde accidentally last night, while trying to clear the infestation first. I kind of panicked and ran and must have blundered into another horde, because by the time I was done, I had over 300 swarmer ears and was out of everything. Killed the last 20 or so using melee. Total adrenaline rush
Same here🤣 came there yesterday to chill at the Nero outpost and the damn horde surprised me. I managed to kill 75% of them from the “balcony” next to the benches, then killed the rest of it from the Nero outpost🤣 had so much fun, when another zombies came out from their cozy nests😂 neverending.
“First Easy Kill” works fabulously. I highly suggest you take a dry run first because pulling the bike up onto the rock is tricky. And obviously be stocked with several incendiaries to burn them down with.
Got to admit, the 2nd easy kill location is the potentially tricky one to climb. The first is the best bike area of the lot, and an easy climb as long as you go for the right area. Incendiaries are very handy to have, but given where they congregate, gunplay works just as well, but not quite as quick as napalms of course, lol.
LMAO, indeed mate. Just some unusual help for the masses who struggle with these hordes. And there are some insane ways to take this lot out, lol. Thank you for watching.
This horde is a surprising one for me as it spawned RIGHT NEXT TO ME after i just finished dealing the infestation around the area while finding power for the checkpoint. I immeaditely ran to the college campus area where i accidentally discovered this 'easy location 4' that hirde doesnt chase u after u enter that gate and i just burn them off from there :D
Nice, and this is one of the areas I rarely go to using fast travel, and for the very reason you just stated. They are a nightmare in terms of where they spawn from.

I am going to go for the stealth method although the method were they will not follow you through the gate is bizarre. You will eventually be able to play in the South again, but not until the game has been completed. However, given that you are back in the North again, you ain't that far away from the end Terry.

You are a research scholar of hordes. Nobody can deny that. After watching your videos. I finished days gone and started the new game plus. Looking for one-two videos with BND 150 and IPCA stun gun. That will be a real fun.
The BND 150 poison darts make hordes easy to take out from afar. I easily finished the Iron Butte horde that way. And I have seen on RUclips the Sawmill horde taken out with the darts in their daytime building location with no shots fired.

During my NG+ playthrough this horde wasn't around when I came back (after mission obv) to burn nests. I took the opportunity to open Nero checkpoint-as soon as I used the injector I heard the horde materialize outside the door 😱🤣 Naturally, nothing I did got rid of them - sleeping didn't help, they don't wander around like the other hordes. Couldn't fast travel away, there were still a couple infestation nests to burn! Can't recall if I did the run & gun dance, attempted it & got 😵'd or if I just reloaded an earlier save. 😮💨 Times like this I really miss having a better memory. You'd think I'd always miss it but most the time I forget it's an issue 😂 Sad to say, that's a for serious joke 😂 Luckily, I've shared many of my experiences in your comments so I can use those to help me remember some 🎉

Again, (during Hard playthrough) I was trying to burn out the nests and open Nero. Got most of the speakers taken care of, was working on the last few & looking for fuse when the horde suddenly materialized all around me!!! No fair! 😂😂😂 Naturally, I tried to run & gun but not only did I lack the ammo but I was also surrounded the moment the horde appeared so I had absolutely no choice but to surrender & accept my 😵 fate 😂 I'll be back with better weapons & more ammo - they'll pay! Muah ah ah 🤓🍻

This is an epic walk through that you're showing us I'm learning so much I have a question though when the bike is up on the rock if you jump off the rock how do you get your bike off the rock... Because I know you can't just climb on those rocks with your feet.. Thanks for making this video I love this game so far it's so fun but I can't obtain that many bombs and grenades in Molotov's for some reason...
Thank you for the kind words mate, and in regards to the bike problem, just access the map, move the cursor over to the bike icon, then select the RECOVER BIKE option. This will move your bike off the rock area to a spot fairly nearby.

Thank you Allan, and the Sawmill Horde is scheduled for a very specific date in December, I'm sure you will have a good idea of which date, given what comes in December, lol. Oh, and it's just shy of 90 minutes long. The grand daddy horde get's the royal treatment, with an astounding 11 easy kill areas. Some crazy ones included, but 1 is so good (and never seen before), that it is getting shown as a standalone video, and that one comes out tomorrow my friend at 16:00. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I found another easy-kill location. Just hide behind the generator, throw an attractor between the tents, and kill the horde using grenades by using the attraction of their explosion. Can't go wrong, eventually use another attractor in between.
Easy Kill Location 4 has me absolutely rolling - and it’s brilliant to boot! Be honest - how many times did you just run back and forth taunting them before properly filming the video after you figured that method out? I mean, the Hordes have most definitely deserved it and it seems rather satisfying since they can’t really hit you unless you stop right in the middle of them 🤣
Educated freaks lol! For me this is one of the most dangerous places on the whole map not just because of the nests but for the behavior of this horde. First time I saw them they were roaming around the football field in broad daylight, which is pretty unexpected to say the least
Btw found out the fastest way to stop for example for the roof or when needed and you are with high speed is the square button to get off the bike. Since you never jump from it that way it stop’s pretty fast to get off

It just takes a bit of practice mate. You need to be climbing the same one as I do, and take your time when doing it. It's all about climbing the leg sections that are not elevated from the ground. You'll see what I mean when you take a close look at them.
I had an interesting encounter with this horde. I was looting the checkpoint and they literally spawned right on the other side of the tent and saw me through the window. They all crawled through the window into the tent and just vanished and the game gave me the kill
This game is know for a few glitches with certain hordes, but it's the first time I've heard of one involving this horde. Cheers for letting me know about that mate.
Idk why but I know I killed the entire horde but the game is saying I haven’t yet. Idk what happened, if it glitched or there is a lone freaker somewhere that I didn’t kill. God I hope it isn’t a glitch because I used 4 attractors and 4 frag grenades.
Unlikely to be a glitch mate, but an animal could have led one or two away during the fighting. Just head back to the area later and pick off any freakers in the grounds, and you will get the conformation of the horde kill after you have taken out the freaker or freakers remaining of this horde.
I would say they are getting to the bike in large numbers. The bike is only effective with small numbers by the bike. Also, make sure the bike is placed like mine is. Hope this helps mate.
Good game, great story, extremely poorly ported for pc. Mouse control is a pain in the ass, horde takedowns are a struggle with the right mouse click dance issue
Got to admit mate, I've played the PC version of Days Gone, and I loved it, but, I couldn't play this using a keyboard & mouse. It's a controller for me every time.
I did the easy kill number 2 and I went down to the lower rock so the freakers couldn't access where I was at and the game wouldn't allow me to get back up to my bike and it was stuck....
If you ever have an issue with the bike again, just bring up the map, put the cursor over to the bike, then select the RECOVER BIKE option. The bike will then be moved to an area where you can access it.

Tbf the game has been out for a number of years so it’s not unsurprising that people can find mini exploits and glitches so late. And not forgetting how buggy the game already is compared to some other top tier games, so we can expect this
I found this game to have some of the best npc pathfinding I’ve ever experienced, the devs definitely weren’t lacking in that department, l4d is the only other I can think of that comes close
I'll be honest, the biggest AI issues are with the marauders in this game, and the hordes seem to have more sense than they do, lol. Appreciate you watching the video mate.

This horde is a surprising one for me as it spawned RIGHT NEXT TO ME after i just finished dealing the infestation around the area while finding power for the checkpoint.
I immeaditely ran to the college campus area where i accidentally discovered this 'easy location 4' that hirde doesnt chase u after u enter that gate and i just burn them off from there :D
Nice, and this is one of the areas I rarely go to using fast travel, and for the very reason you just stated. They are a nightmare in terms of where they spawn from.

Hey Boris. Amazing video as always. Every method spot on. I struggled to get into the area to power up the genny etc. so after multiple try's i went to you and found this video. I am going to go for the stealth method although the method were they will not follow you through the gate is bizarre. @@borislav247 Hey Boris. no problem. Just a question. I did not get my trust level to 3 at wizard island in order to get mag upgrades for Chicago chopper and BFG , and now locked out of that camp. Is there any other way to get them as the guns were purchased at wizard island. Thanks in advance.
@@terryoreilly5642 There isn't my friend. The mag upgrades always come from the vendor that you purchased them from. You will eventually be able to play in the South again, but not until the game has been completed. However, given that you are back in the North again, you ain't that far away from the end Terry.
@@borislav247 Hi Boris. I ended up going back to 1 of my earlier saves and taking out the 3 hordes in the area and getting up to level 3 trust so i could buy my mag upgrades before i had to leave. The BND 150 poison darts make hordes easy to take out from afar. I easily finished the Iron Butte horde that way. And I have seen on RUclips the Sawmill horde taken out with the darts in their daytime building location with no shots fired.

During my NG+ playthrough this horde wasn't around when I came back (after mission obv) to burn nests. I took the opportunity to open Nero checkpoint-as soon as I used the injector I heard the horde materialize outside the door 😱🤣
Naturally, nothing I did got rid of them - sleeping didn't help, they don't wander around like the other hordes. Couldn't fast travel away, there were still a couple infestation nests to burn! Can't recall if I did the run & gun dance, attempted it & got 😵'd or if I just reloaded an earlier save.
😮💨 Times like this I really miss having a better memory. You'd think I'd always miss it but most the time I forget it's an issue 😂 Sad to say, that's a for serious joke 😂 Luckily, I've shared many of my experiences in your comments so I can use those to help me remember some 🎉

Again, (during Hard playthrough) I was trying to burn out the nests and open Nero. Got most of the speakers taken care of, was working on the last few & looking for fuse when the horde suddenly materialized all around me!!! No fair! 😂😂😂 Naturally, I tried to run & gun but not only did I lack the ammo but I was also surrounded the moment the horde appeared so I had absolutely no choice but to surrender & accept my 😵 fate 😂
I'll be back with better weapons & more ammo - they'll pay! Muah ah ah 🤓🍻

This is an epic walk through that you're showing us I'm learning so much I have a question though when the bike is up on the rock if you jump off the rock how do you get your bike off the rock... Because I know you can't just climb on those rocks with your feet.. Thanks for making this video I love this game so far it's so fun but I can't obtain that many bombs and grenades in Molotov's for some reason...
Thank you for the kind words mate, and in regards to the bike problem, just access the map, move the cursor over to the bike icon, then select the RECOVER BIKE option. This will move your bike off the rock area to a spot fairly nearby.

This is my favourite horde in days gone. Good fun to take out. Now I have some new ways to try. As always, amazing. Can't wait for the sawmill one.
Thank you Allan, and the Sawmill Horde is scheduled for a very specific date in December, I'm sure you will have a good idea of which date, given what comes in December, lol. Oh, and it's just shy of 90 minutes long. The grand daddy horde get's the royal treatment, with an astounding 11 easy kill areas. Some crazy ones included, but 1 is so good (and never seen before), that it is getting shown as a standalone video, and that one comes out tomorrow my friend at 16:00. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I found another easy-kill location. Just hide behind the generator, throw an attractor between the tents, and kill the horde using grenades by using the attraction of their explosion. Can't go wrong, eventually use another attractor in between.

Easy Kill Location 4 has me absolutely rolling - and it’s brilliant to boot! Be honest - how many times did you just run back and forth taunting them before properly filming the video after you figured that method out? I mean, the Hordes have most definitely deserved it and it seems rather satisfying since they can’t really hit you unless you stop right in the middle of them 🤣
I did a LOT of running back and forth, just to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me, lol.

Educated freaks lol! For me this is one of the most dangerous places on the whole map not just because of the nests but for the behavior of this horde. First time I saw them they were roaming around the football field in broad daylight, which is pretty unexpected to say the least
Indeed mate. Very few hordes are seen out in daylight hours wandering around like this lot.
Btw found out the fastest way to stop for example for the roof or when needed and you are with high speed is the square button to get off the bike. Since you never jump from it that way it stop’s pretty fast to get off

It is specific ones Andy, as some of the bases are slightly raised which makes them not climbable, but a lot of them are. Worth checking out mate.

Just one question, how the heck are you climbing the pylon?
It just takes a bit of practice mate. You need to be climbing the same one as I do, and take your time when doing it. It's all about climbing the leg sections that are not elevated from the ground. You'll see what I mean when you take a close look at them.

I had an interesting encounter with this horde. I was looting the checkpoint and they literally spawned right on the other side of the tent and saw me through the window. They all crawled through the window into the tent and just vanished and the game gave me the kill
This game is know for a few glitches with certain hordes, but it's the first time I've heard of one involving this horde. Cheers for letting me know about that mate.
Idk why but I know I killed the entire horde but the game is saying I haven’t yet. Idk what happened, if it glitched or there is a lone freaker somewhere that I didn’t kill. God I hope it isn’t a glitch because I used 4 attractors and 4 frag grenades.
Unlikely to be a glitch mate, but an animal could have led one or two away during the fighting. Just head back to the area later and pick off any freakers in the grounds, and you will get the conformation of the horde kill after you have taken out the freaker or freakers remaining of this horde.
Zombies: I rather die again than go back to classroom 😂

I would say they are getting to the bike in large numbers. The bike is only effective with small numbers by the bike. Also, make sure the bike is placed like mine is. Hope this helps mate.

Good game, great story, extremely poorly ported for pc. Mouse control is a pain in the ass, horde takedowns are a struggle with the right mouse click dance issue
Got to admit mate, I've played the PC version of Days Gone, and I loved it, but, I couldn't play this using a keyboard & mouse. It's a controller for me every time.
On which difficulty do you play these scenarios?
All the hordes are taken out on Normal difficulty mate.
How many seconds does the atractor work?
around 8 to 10 seconds Daniel.
I did the easy kill number 2 and I went down to the lower rock so the freakers couldn't access where I was at and the game wouldn't allow me to get back up to my bike and it was stuck....
If you ever have an issue with the bike again, just bring up the map, put the cursor over to the bike, then select the RECOVER BIKE option. The bike will then be moved to an area where you can access it.

That's an easy one to answer mate. Basically, I have unlocked the skill that allows you to carry more items. I think it's called Carry That Weight.
So is this horde unlocked before or after the MP3 mission?
It's unlocked well before you are given the mp3 mission, so you can clear this horde out early in readiness for that mission.

These exploits are quite funny, but did the devs do a sloppy job with the AI?
Tbf the game has been out for a number of years so it’s not unsurprising that people can find mini exploits and glitches so late. And not forgetting how buggy the game already is compared to some other top tier games, so we can expect this
I found this game to have some of the best npc pathfinding I’ve ever experienced, the devs definitely weren’t lacking in that department, l4d is the only other I can think of that comes close
I'll be honest, the biggest AI issues are with the marauders in this game, and the hordes seem to have more sense than they do, lol. Appreciate you watching the video mate.
