I'm amazed at the amount of new parts and tools that get thrown away on a daily basis! And what we see Mike finding is just a fraction of a few dumpsters in one city!
When company goes bust nobody cares and everything goes to trash. Or when they do major cleaning, I’m surprised that employees don’t take these things.

Safety is the key so I'll keep the key in the safe.
This guy digs into any dumpster, fearless, respect.
Mike would do well to build contacts with a few precision engineering or metal fabrication companies. Some of the tools he finds, he could probably sell straight in to them. That Milwaukee one piece Hawg Carbide tipped cutter is for drilling holes in stainless steel (or other metals) up to 1/2” (13mm) thick. They’re currently listed on Grainger’s site at $96. Those other things in the plastic boxes looked like morse taper to straight shank adaptor sleeves for taper shank drills. The flat tapered pieces with them were drifts to part them from the drills again. Quite a few dollars worth there too. I saw another RUclipsr scrap a box of almost new engineering tools worth at least $120. I’d have gladly paid him $80 for them. He threw them straight onto a pile in the scrapyard. I was almost screaming at my screen.
Agree 100%. As an electronics guy, I wept to see the megohm tester tossed. And months later I haven't got over the Rigol scope in another dumpster...
I figured there were some engineers watching just cringing at the instruments that were tossed out!

Some of those contraptions in the open top were rope grabs that you hook your lanyard to when doing sommin like cleaning windows , if you fall it grabs , as you move up its easy to slide , to other brass lookin deal with a teardrop lookin handle is for pulling cable. You hook a comalong to the teardropend and the other u slip over a cable then slide the little plate over cable so it dont accidently slip off and go to town tightening up your perimiter temporary handrail on a structural steel building , yes somof that stuff is worth a buck or 2

Mike, do you ever get fans asking if you would sell an item you find. Just asking because I would definitely be interested in buying the Klein wire grip you found in the green open top. I do high voltage line work and I use them daily. Love the videos.
Those morse adaptors are for pedestal drills and mill - they are worth a bit. Used instead of a chuck fro morse taper bits. Holds in by friction
