This sequel is a stretch on its own. The last thing this series needs is a third movie when it didn't even need a sequel.
There are two questions to ask yourself about sequels. "Do they need to make a sequel", and "should they make a sequel". Sometimes a sequel is completely unnecessary, but definitely not always unwanted or unaccepted.
I've seen "Finding Dory" and it was really good. I'm glad that studio wanted to make another sequel that the first one did it success last 12 years and I really love "Finding Nemo" which became Classic Disney/Pixar film. Now in the sequel, Dory must find her lost family that she doesn't remember where they are, but she found them in the located wildlife sea center at California and she tags along with Marylyn and Nemo and the rest of colorful fish buddies. Ellen finally coming back as memorable Dory and she did a good job for playing a fish memento character. I like her back story of her childhood which she tries to remember and she follows along with her path to find them. The movie does has some clever scenes like the colorful fish characters, Marylyn and Nemo were back again and they both did their roles good, and Dory's quest to parents is interesting. Even though, the scenes were same like the first one, but to be fair it's not so bad. Overall, a pretty good movie.
By the way, I like that they bring Sigourney Weaver in the sequel that it is compared to the voice Sigourney Weaver from "WALL•E" which is the same right? SYMBOLISM!!!!
I love this sooooooooooo much, the way they set it up and the animation are priceless...Pixar has never let me down and I don't expect them to start now...

Um, I don't know. It's story was rehashed from Brother Bear (which was also a pretty bad movie), the pacing is uneven, it's characters aren't interesting, and overall, the movie is flat out boring. It was an utter disappointment, and the same can be said for other Pixar films like Monsters University and The Good Dinosaur.

Finding Nemo has always been one of my favorite Disney films - so OMG!!! can't wait to see how this one stands up as the sequel! The trailer looks amazing! And of course, who doesn't just love Dory!

***** Well, to me it looks like the perfect Finding Nemo sequel. I just hate the people who pretend that they're the biggest Nemo fans ever just so they have an excuse to hate on Dory. Even though it hasn't even come out yet.
+Yishai Thau Well I'm a die hard Pixar fan and I'm super excited to see Finding Dory, but I'm going to go in and look for the flaws in the movie. Not because I think it'll suck, oh no quite the opposite. I'm worried that I'll think it'll be better than it actually is. Which most critics seem to be doing to Pixar movies lately. Like Good Dinosaur usually got a 7/10 by critics when in reality, I feel like it should've gotten a 3/10. It was not a good movie in my eyes. But it's Pixar so it's always good.

My mom and younger siblings didn't really like The Good Dinosaur, so they don't think this will be good. For some reason, I think they think the title sounds weird, but just because a goofy character like Dory is the main character, doesn't mean it's dumb. It actually is pretty good, except for a 1 minute scene.

I always tear up when I hear that piano soundtrack in the beginning. 😢
it amazes me that there are so many comments for a two second scene than the actual movie. No confirmation of sexual orientation of two characters that probably have little to do with the actual film, and yet bigots are crawling out of the woodwork to give their backwards opinion. The movie will be about Dory. Not two women in close proximity to each other. Come on people......
First Zootopia made me rethink my life and now Pixar is gonna make me cry again like last year's Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. Disney, you never fail to impress.
So far, none of these Screens have shown the Tank Gang or the Moonfish, who are slated for a return. Ratzenberger usually does voice the same characters in Follow ups, not sure where the Moonfish would appear in the film though, and the Tank Gang did make it to the Ocean at the end of Finding Nemo.

There was no marine life institute in the first film and finding Dory is not a copy/paste cash grab sequel.

Dude, the MLI wasn't shown in first movie, before we were finding the characters (dory's parents, in this case), we got to know the characters (nemo), but the turtle is the same.

While this does seem to have some similarities to Finding Nemo I don't think it will be an exact copy and past of the same plot

I still remember watching Finding Nemo when it first came out and then, my dad got me the DVD for Christmas and it was the one single movie that I would always return to watch... and now, 13 years later, the sequel has come out. +CJ Sangster beauty and the beast was the first animated movie to be nominated for best picture. it remains to this day the only traditionally animated film to be nominated. up and Toy Story 3 were the other nominees. inside out was considered but didn't make the shortlist. however, with a movie like this: I think it's got a chance. I just hope it will beat zootopia, kubo and the two strings, and moana.
Disney Guardian Zootopia was great and I'm looking forward to Moana. Disney animation is starting to take over these days, while Pixar last few films have been so so. Hopefully this will bring Pixar back up to snuff
