The parched look gives the garden of Usher a very dramatic look, good choice! I hope the green spires come to life, loving the American honey suckle. Thanks for showing, you can really feel the heat from your video and that ebony plant really looks happy there. Also, the arboreums give your garden a dramatic look, with their scrawny alien-like summer vibe. 🌞
Thanks so much for your kind words. I really do enjoy the different phases that the garden goes through and the different looks that come with the changes, as opposed to having a green lawn all year round. I love the aeonium arboreums, I actually like their summer look, very funky 😊
What a collection you have! The crape myrtle is absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad you’re seeing blooms this year. And the aeonium arboreum…. My jaw literally dropped at the cool petals, even in dormancy. And the honeysuckle… 😻😻😻 all your vining plants will make beautiful privacy walls, just like you wanted. It’s really magical to see it happening little by little.
@@ARoseGrowsInHarlem Thank you so much! I’m still not sure if I want the crape myrtle to be a tree or a bush, only time will tell. The aeonium arboreum was one of the first plants I ever planted 🖤 I was really trying to work on privacy this year, I hope it works out well thanks again!
Hello from Dallas, Texas! Loving your videos! Have you tried the Purple Heart Tradescantia? Their easy to grow, dark purple foliage with small lavender flowers at the tips of each stem and you can easily propagate the heck out of them. I'm in zone 8b and they are perennial for me.
Hello Dallas, thanks so much! I just learned something today, I have seen these plants before and never knew their name until today, Purple Heart Tradescantia. There is this hospital where I work and they have these plants planted in front, I was thinking of planting some to cover a slope in front of my house, thanks for the suggestion and tip!

Lovely! I'm impressed with how well it all looks, even in the heat
Thanks so much! Not one day goes by that I don’t greet each plant and tree, making sure they are well and happy 😃
