I just discovered this series and I'm in session 3 now. It is a really good series. So cool to see how the Sheila and the front office built this team and established the culture. I think that has to be the key reason the Lions are playing well now.

I don't think people realize how important it is, to see Calvin Johnson be back around the organization, and HOW MASSIVE that is for our city.. It proves the cultural change of the team, 5-6 years ago, Calvin wouldn't be seen doing stuff like this, the previous ownership did him so dirty, and he knows it. For him to comeback and realize how much stuff has changed, is just so big for us man. It almost makes me tear up a little bit. People can say "Same ole Lions" if we start losing, but to me I see proof in the change, there are things coming to fruition that show this, and it makes me incredibly happy.

dude is a quitter and crybaby who had no passion for the game or for winnings. Rather he stay away from the team. Don't need guys like him around. No way Holmes or coach Campbell would have taken a player like him with zero passion for the game.

    • @thomaswatkins3686

You people who believe this regime has been transformed by this staff are laughable. You are so desperate to praise these clowns you’ll make up stories just to do such.
Quinn and Co had nothing to do with whether Calvin got his money or not. That decision went all the way to the Fords.
      Did they sell the team?
CJ came back because some one realized how bad it looked after a second hall of Famer bailed on the team and everybody roasted them for it.
      That’s it.
I find this type of comment humorous in that all everybody cares about is winning. Not the feelings of players. Quinn & co won for 2 seasons consecutively after Johnson retired and there wasn’t a word about it.
Suddenly Patricia takes over and not patching things up with him was just more incompetence.
      Make your mind up.

Yep, she comes across as so likeable, I love when she was joking with Green when he hung up early "we know you are fast so we thought you ran away from us." lol Seems like she really cares about the players and the team without being too overbearing, maybe it happens behind the scenes(I personally doubt it) but from what we see she seems to want to be involved but at the same time leave all the transactions to Brad and the professionals. Unlike some other owners you hear rumors about that basically force the GMs hands by telling them to pick or go after players they want.

The fact that she appears to genuinely care is indeed refreshing and very promising for our continuing upward trend.

not a Lions fan, but I've been watching NFL since Matt Millen was with Detroit. Has an amazing history as a player, was a good commentator, but his period as president was really really bad.
Y'all ate the bread made by the devil for all those years. Basically made the two best players y'all had retire earlier due to complete ineptitude of the franchise.

LaPorta has been lights out this year man. Gibbs has been doing alright this year, I think he can be so much better with a bit more experience. Branch has showed some flashes. This has been a rather successful draft class. To have this much success with first year players says a lot about Brad Holmes, Dan Campbell, and the rest of the staff. Here's the proof of what that team did in the 2023 draft. They picked 4 STARTERS out of it, who not only start, but start for the NFC North Division Champions! That is IMPRESSIVE, and a testament to who Brad Holmes, Dan Campbell, and the support system in the scouting staff for the New Detroit Lions are. SOL My Ass!

I love seeing Randel-El, Brunell, Bly, and Fraley on this staff. These dudes know what it takes to be a player in this league. One pride baby!

I dont think there has ever been a more in depth draft war room video than this. Who needs hard knocks when you have the Detroit Lions Production team!
