This is a figure that gets the white glove treatment. Lol. Amazon says mine are arriving today, but the problem is, I need to be charged and they need to ship first. Ugh. So hopefully I'll get them by the original date of the 27th. Great looking figure. Great review as always. 👍

Such a great figure and well worth the wait. I love the Dark Trooper design, so evil and menacing looking. Apart from the "deluxe" price tag this figure is superb but i do wish that Hasbro would include a flight stand for "flying" type figures, i mean they include the foot thrusters but you can not display the figure with them! Great review Nate, its a 10 out of 10 for me

Mine arrived today from Big Bad. I saw that you’d posted this, so I decided to watch before opening. He looks like a lot of fun. To this day, Dark Forces is my favorite SW game, and having this brings back memories of these droids popping up seemingly out of nowhere. With this in mind, I’d really like a Kyle Katarn for him to terrorize. Maybe in the Gaming Greats line?

i am a bit disappointed. I think they should have done a hard glossy chest plate. I get they were probably done the soft one for improved articulation but would rather have one glued down. They could have raised it up slightly so the arms can still move. I think the price is too much but it is my last deluxe so won't be paying this sort of money again.

This review gave me a really good look at the Dark Trooper and what it's capable of. Lots of articulation with a clunky design, and yet it can still hold its blaster with both hands and bring it in close to its head for higher precision. The Deluxe price is a shame, but given the 100% new sculpt and how it doesn't resemble more humanoid figures, being a droid, I feel that this is the least offensive Deluxe. Either way, I'm so glad to have ordered this and can't wait to receive it in the mail. ^^

Wooo! I was so stoked when the Dark Troopers showed up in The Mandalorian. The original Dark Forces game was the reason I bought my first CD-Rom and is still one of my all time favourite games.

I'm not too happy about the price on this guy, but It'll probably end up being worth it. It look super accurate and we all knew that the articulation would be amazing since it's a droid. Great review, hope I'm able to get this guy in hand soon, and I hope everyone enjoys theirs, because this looks to me like one of the best TBS figures of all time. They can put anything in a wider box and call it deluxe even though it’s not. For me to call it deluxe it needs to come with accessories like the original box release of the tusken raider.

I got my pair from Amazon today. Feeling pretty meh about them. I expected them to be bigger at this price point. Cancelling my other preorders. I was gonna Army build 6 but at the current price I just can't justify it without stands either.
But why? Then they wouldn’t be accurate to the show. This is the correct scale. I get the whole not a deluxe argument but the size isn’t an issue. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Amazing review of a really great figure. I received mine a month ago, as it was a bit pricey l only got 3, definitely not a deluxe. Star Wars fans have had 2 fails with Haslab, now Marvel fans are pizzed.

Great review and figure, I always wondered why these dark troopers didnt have wrist or forearm mounted blasters like the super battle droids had so they dont have uselessly cary a gun like a human, still a great looking figure though

Maybe it's because the former phases for these droids was that they were humans in armor, so they continued to keep them human-like even as droids. It might also have to do with the empire trying to be different from the Separatists with their tech, or perhaps the designers within the Empire are inferior compared to what the Separatists could do?
I think the empire was looking for a more direct soldier replacement. That could use guns, jet pack around and complete other tasks, like scooping up a little baby.
Finally available but not in Australia yet...great looking design and glad this character is cannon...hopefully the 3.75 with the stasis chamber and the HotToys get released soon..great review mate..cheers 🍺🍺🍻
Si, the Hot Toys version has been released in Hong Kong, i have mine so it should not be long before you get yours, it's so worth the wait, the articulation is insane,the light up features work a treat and the glossy black paint job looks fantastic.

My problem with the Dark Pooper (apart from the price!) is it was delivered alongside 4 Neca Predators in the same mail delivery. It truly looked poor value for money considering it cost at least as much as those bad boys. When I compared the boxes and accessories it looked like the DT was sourced from a jumble sale for 10 quid. I've never seen such a large bs box with so little in it. J made me laugh on the Sunday stream when the complaint was made about the flight stand. He said "i don't know where you would put it?" My immediate response was "anywhere in that big-ass empty, dreary, grey box it rattles around in!!" Even the character paragraph they wrote is shite as you pointed out, as they use the same word powerful? twice in a sentence or something like that, which irked me as an appreciator/purveyor of the English language. Harkened back to the days of "Like Sqwaukwalkher, Yhaavhinn Seramony".......
Good review as usual Natey, and once the figure is separated from other "Action Figures," their jam packed boxes with awesome art work and the fact that I paid over 40 quid, the figure is.....okay. I do have to say though, the 'blo are doing everything in their power to make me want to stop army building, which is a shame.....

Oof.. that had to hurt. Definitely NOT a Deluxe figure. My kid was making fun of it because his Halo figure towered above my tiny droid 🤣🤣. I purposefully placed the I opened on my Mando shelf surrounded by 6 offworld Jawas admiring it for all the parts they'll rip off & sell.

A bit disappointed with this figure....was looking forward to getting it and it does look good but the ankle joints are junk....at least on mine. It also appears to have one leg slightly shorter than the other which renders it impossible to stand on its own...I think a flight stand should have been included.
