Is this just a regular clay pot ? I've been trying to figure out how to get one of these shipped to the US, but I might just end up going with a big clay plant pot
Jerry and Yaowalak I just love looking at your videos such as this one. I find them to be so inspiring and informative as I set about educating myself about Thai cuisines, ingredients, cooking methods and techniques and of course all of the tools, cooking vessels, cleavers, knives and the myriad of other things that contribute to making Thai cuisine such a delicious culinary adventure to set out on. And one of the nicest things about so many of your videos is that the Thai Ladies who are most often featured in them appear to be so pleasant, kind and well mannered - without exception. The Thai people and the Japanese as well seem to have mastered the High Art of service to their customers without ANY of the stigma of subservience which is very common in many Western Cultures among certain groups of people. Service that is both good and genuine appears to be a greater calling in and of itself and it is equally matched and valued and appreciated by the person being served as well with good manners and a sense of gracious gratuity. I also find the practice of cutting down a whole chicken into smaller, finger sized pieces particular appealing as well. Thanks for sharing. If I ever get my hands on a clay pot of the size used in this video - or at least close to it - I will have to pay your on line store to check out the charcoal pot ovens that you are offering for sale. Very nice indeed.
