Katya really underestimates her skills with makeup and -- a massive component to makeup application -- her understanding of her own facial structure. What's more is she's sitting next to one of the most recognisable faces in drag, who has a ton of experience as an MUA under her belt, and she still does an incredible job even with the contrast of their styles and techniques.
What I'm saying is if WoW doesn't give it to us, we need Netflix to come through and give us that good drag/makeup swap we've been waiting for.
I think Katya gets someone else to do her make up now but it does look really good when she does it herself

*I rewatched the episode brought up below: in the 100th ep of UNHhhh, she says that if they did a swap, she would get Fena to do the makeup on Trixie in her stead because she thinks she'll be bad at it -- not that Fena normally does her makeup for her.
She also confirmed in recent interviews and episodes that she does her own makeup all the time. So, Fena Barbitall does a lot of Katya's wigs, but Katya still does her own makeup and makes a lot of her own outfits.
I think she mentioned it an UNHhhh video where they were talking about potentially doing each other’s make up. And yeah some queens have MUAs but I believe the majority do it themselves

That would be more work for the editing team and not as good when it comes to how they edit things. For example, they constantly edit legs onto them on Uhnn and them being on a stool opposed to a couch is better for the illusion.
