- We have been working at this project clearing and removing dead trees and branches along the driveway edge and a few other things with equipment. Because our equipment was still on site and we got a huge amount of snow, we were asked if we could help out and clear the driveway to the house as it was currently under renovations with no one living in it. We only had our Kubota svl 75 skidsteer there so we made due with what we had using a 6 foot bucket that is on it.
Thanks for sharing !
No problem! Glad you enjoyed 🤙
Wow! That is so satisfying to watch!!!!!! Great job Dirty Diggers! Keep the content coming!
Always satisfying to watch diggers at work! That’s what we’re all about! Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment! 😄🍻
Give edge tamers a try when you do this project again.
What are those?
Your video is fun. I can’t wait to get out there in the snow. I bought a Takeuchi TL6R. It has stock block tracks. But did buy multi-bar tracks. Wonder if I’ll need to change them out right away. Also bought a snow pusher blade. Excited to get out there and play in the snow like a 5 yo. Thank you for your motivating video. Did you get a snow plow blade or snow pusher?
Thanks for watching! We used to have a snow pusher when we did a lot of commercial snow plowing. We haven’t for a few years now and sold it. Just use the machine with the bucket for around the shop and odd driveways like this one
@@dirty.diggers thank you for both messages. I push snow on gravel and no pavement. So need a blade or pusher with hockey pucks or glides.
@@Boogle912 yeah sounds like that would make sense for you! Let me know how it goes 🤙
On any hills do the tracks still get good tracking on packed ice or snow?
@@mikeadams2339 if it’s packed snow or ice the traction isn’t the greatest to be honest. I find the tracks tend to slide a lot more on hills when icy or slippery conditions
send snow this way
Ahaha I’ll try my best. Where abouts are you???
Just north of Portland Maine
@@LoneWolfSnowplowing oh dam thought you guys would have lots out that way! It’s actually been really mild here the last week or so and rainy. Lots of snow is now gone lol
It's refreshing to have the camera (mostly) pointed at the bucket/work - not at the operator. Clearly, you recognize that we clicked here to watch snowplowing and a tree being moved.
("Selfie talking" seems to be the norm on most of these equipment vids. Footage of the equipment and work being done better accompanies narration. Equipment operator guys don't want to stare at other men's faces at arm's length.)
I appreciate that!
I try my best to show what I’m doing and if possible different camera angles. I enjoy showing the process and explaining how/why what we’re doing when it’s not obvious. Thanks for watching! 🍻🍻
