@@fishycomics Fortunately, all I needed to do was replace the propeller -- nothing with the motor -- but I didn't notice the three tiny screws until I saw your video.
@@EdwardMorykwas thank you for letting me know, that is awesome, sometimes we do forget and I di have left overs. a way to learn is snap a photo of each step and use as reference , jsut saying you re again very welcomed
I wonder if the top guards can stay off without any ill effects like most of these types of drones are set up with the shroud only? Might actually be a performance upgrade allowing more airflow.
I was just thinking of taking the top parts off to reduce weight and maybe improve airflow through the props and leave the hoops/shrouds to still offer protection. And easier access to props and motors.
Tested this...seems like slightly improved performance and a slightly longer flight time. I think they have these top guards because this can be also intended for little kids to fly. Most of the other drones in this style of indoor drone just have the hoops around the blades which this has if you take the top half off. Looks better too
Thank you
Thank you so much for posting this! I couldn't figure out how to do it, and it's not covered in the instruction manual.
when you get to the wiring part be careful you are very welcomed
