Marin Youth Ecology Corps

This video recaps the highly-successful Marin Youth Ecology Corps pilot. In conjunction with Conservation Corps North Bay, 16 at-risk Marin County youth between the ages of 16-24, completed 8 weeks of paid conservation work in the Indian Valley Organic Farm & Garden and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. This invaluable work experience empowered the participants with job readiness skills in a fun, stimulating and educational atmosphere. The program is one of several county initiatives that engage youth and impart appropriate workplace behaviors essential to retaining employment.
