There are several descaling and coffee cleaning powders available for use on cleaning of coffee equipment. Some require scrubbing while others allow soaking that breaks down the oils and milk solids. Urnex is one brand with multiple products, another is Barkeepers Friend Coffee Cleaner. I think the main issue is that ALL mugs and lids need cleaning/soaking after each use. I gave up using milk products in my coffee which solved about 90% of the hygiene issues.
I wonder if letting all the parts soak in warm soapy water for a while and maybe using a small hand brush to quickly clean the crevices would help better clean it and help with odors
For the cleaning part, in the slide lid you can remove all the inner parts in few seconds and clean them easily
Thanks for the tip
If you insert the straw the other way round and have the short bit below, will it fit into one of the smaller mugs?
Yes
ThTs what I was thinking the whole time lol

Thanks for such a helpful video! How would you say the Fellow cold tumbler compares to the MiiR commuter cup with straw?
I have yet to try that one!
Hi there! Did you try the created co cold cup? I’m curious to see how it compares to the fellow cold cup :)
I have not tried that one but it looks pretty neat! I think the fellow might be better with all the lid options!
Do you find the ceramic lining makes a difference?
I do!
