Can't believe minus one forgot such an important detail. Gvk and GXK can be forgiven, but minus one is a legit Godzilla movie. I love the movie but forgetting basic Godzilla stuff is disappointing.
Hear me out and listen to 0:31 again. They captured the vibes so well literally because the chances are thats how we would all hear him pull up and my favorite because he’s off shore. Just hear that bass in some good headphones! It’s the most realistic to me and not much people would get a close up roar like we get in the movies. Plus if they did it would probably pop ear drums.
The ending roar in King Of The Monsters is the coolest roar by far. He’s standing with all the monsters Bowing to him with the epic music fading, signifying him as the king and the God. Another one of the best was the 2014 one where he mimics the music. And then another is the one where he yells at kong to submit and is on top of him

In a way they probably can. They can most likely feel the vibrations of the roar and considering the immensity of the roar it probably stuck with them for a while.
There's something that Legendary did that made his roar just as iconic as the older roars and I completely believe that Godzilla as a franchise will be iconic in cinema history from now on (hopefully 100+ years), including his roar. I remember growing up with Godzilla in my childhood (along side with halo) it's just there's something amazing seeing giant monsters beat the living hell out of each other on the big screen even though I grew up with the suit but now with CGI it looks real and the fights feel more real, I just hope Godzilla will continue it's rampage on cinema history for future generations and I hope it won't over shadow the true meaning of Godzilla
For Me, what made it iconic (and what makes me love the series as a whole) is that they took the classics, and did their own takes on them. The Godzilla roar follows the same sound patter, a loud roar followed by a change in pitch but to Legendary’s take, it was a growl added to his roar (that’s the way I see the trill at the end)
Mixing Legendary's Godzilla roar like they did was, without question in my opinion, the best move. They really needed to make this version stand out from previous versions, a new roar was just what it needed.
This new Godzilla has a subtlety “muted” sound near the start of the roar. What I like about it is how it sounds like it’s meant to deafen the audience as if the roar is so powerful, it pretty much muted every other noise around it
Personally I like the GvK sounds because a lot of them don’t really even sound like roars but more like grunts and shouts which shows he can emote in other ways than just roaring but it’s still cool
I noticed that too. Throughout the MonsterVerse but particularly in GvK. A great way to have him emote and express some character without removing all of his imposing stoicism or anthrophomizing him too much.

Agreed
I love how fast and versatile Godzilla became in Godzilla Vs Kong
Serizawa got that lizard juiced
one of the reasons why i disliked the movie, it felt like Pacific rim 2 all over again
@@phatlewt2932 I feel you tho but I think we're in their perspective of their own natural speed in their dimension something like that. Dunno if that made sense xD but I oh well I tried.
Probably he lost his weight after fighting Ghidorah because I noticed he's slimmer in this movie than in KOTM.
@@Shaf11_8 Damn Right
thanks for saving my roars dude
0:32 this roar, by far is my favorite, couldn’t think of a better way to assert his dominance after killing the muto
It's always tough to pick an absolute favorite Godzilla film, incarnation, design, roar, etc. My BOY has been lucky enough to be created by some real talented, creative folks. Personally, the DougheGoji design (KOTM and GvK) is my favorite of the franchise and his accompanying roar is, at least, in my top five. I just have a soft spot for his '54 and '84 roars too. Plus, I adore the fact that the MonsterVerse Goji really embraces the "force of nature" characteristic through his chaotic neutral morality and primordial origin.
Love this Godzilla, all around!
WHAT?
1- shin godzilla
2- 2014 godzilla
3 kotm/gvk godzilla
I always get goosebumps when Godzilla roars out loud😲
This roar will never get old or boring...
0:33 has to be one of the best roars
That scene when Godzilla roars in king kongs face was pure undisputed epic, really what is a king to a god
1:05 my favourite sence
2:18 is my fav

The roar dude goodluck
The echo after is so badass
2:21 when you realize there's a chance that this will be the last time we see and hear this version of Godzilla's iconic roar.
Legendary comfirmed godzilla 3
I doubt it. Not with GvK making Bank like it did
Godzilla series confirmed
@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim fr them two were the ones who saved the movie theatre business from going down during covid. they definitely earned another movie 1
Godzilla x Kong The New Empire has just been confirmed!

"I KNOW YOU'RE DOWN THERE, COME HERE"
His roar is never going to get old never ever
One of the things I liked best in King of the Monsters 2019 was they mixed Godzilla's new roars with the classic ones. Same with Mothra. I wish they did that with Ghidorah and Rodan too.
They did Ghidorah’s but it was more subtle
And with Rodan, they said they followed the same pattern that Rodan’s roars usually are, but just changed with bird charters
His roaring will never change
I like how It starts as a dinosaur roar and ends like a whale sound.
Man out of all the titans godzilla"s roar is epic and gives me chills when I listen to it..
1:41 this right here. My favorite
